No one really voted for Trump: how could they?

After reading all the assaults on Trump, I( wonder if some Americans cherish racism and hatred. Hopefully, this election has
indicatwd that both hatred and racism are UNAMERICAN. Many people have been saying this, but these rioters or demonstraters do not care to have a unified nation, Just how do they perceive this nation coming together if we don't try
to become a better and respected nation. You can bet our allies are surprised at our childish behavior. According to the
election, as per the Constitution, a President has been selected. Now the small minority of people want the election laws
changed and maintain that Clinton won because the popular vote said so. That is not the way the Constitution works and
Congress is the only method that can change it.

Shame on One Political Plaza for publishing so much "banter" about Trump and the election. We have heard all the tripe
about President-elect Trump before we voted and the results are in. Much of what is being published appears to be almost
un-American and real Americans are getting tired of seeing it in print. How about telling us who Trump has selected that he
trusts will work in behalf of the American people.

Nice post....Thank You...

As I said all along, Thank the people in here and the slanted main stream media!! Their attempt to perfect' the largest fraud committed against We, The Citizens of this great Nation, FAILED!!

What they did in their propaganda BS was motive Americans to get out there in that clean sweep that took place and vote with an effective and speechless, No more, we're done!! Need not worry "what they will tell us about", they were unequivocally wrong about Trump's capability and the people for that fact...Let Trump tell us what he plans, he knows, they do not..

The shame of this Nation came in the exposed fraud, lies, BS and constant twisting of so much it has exposed just how divided some truly are and just how far they will go in their criminal endeavors to succeed..

Time to rebuild, reestablish the home of the free and making America FIRST, in all things considered...

We CAN do it...We've shown this and now obligated to KEEP showing what AMERICA is really all about, once again.

Those whom prefer to live in the past, condemn Trump and think their America is now gone are the very same that looked to progressivism as the answer to all things, when in fact it was progressives that brought them down!!!

Life is grand!!!.

The Donald nails it! Finally something sane and true comes out of his mouth. And we will continue to be a great Republic if the Electoral College does the right thing--what it was designed for, to keep demagogues and the unqualified out office—and dumps Trump. (Not likely but love of this country keeps that dream alive.)

Reading the many ugly and stupid things Trump has said, and doubled-down on, it is clear he was not elected for being presidential. Obviously a lot of anger, fear and hate over the present state of America and the world, and not his character, cast the ballot. It should be clear no one actually voted for Trump but for his divisive rhetoric.
After being elected, he continued being the The Donald, calling the protesters of his election “professionals” and “instigated by the media” (which he eventually walked back); ranting against instead of reassuring the cast of “Hamilton”; not laughing the SNL spoof off like all former presidents going back to Carter but whining for equal time. The office has not changed this emotional midget yet. America is in very big trouble if he continues in his childish tantrums. Like saying that he would attack Iran if they made bad gestures at our Navy. A playground bully.

1 “If Ivanka weren’t my daughter, I’d perhaps be dating her.”

2 Donald Trump is calling for a total shutdown of Muslims from entering the United States till our country’s representatives can figure out what is happening

3 “All the women on The Apprentice flirted with me, consciously or unconsciously–that’s to be expected.”

4 “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime. They’re rapists.”

5 “You wouldn’t have your job if you weren’t beautiful.”
Said to the reporter of a Right Wing media agent that his staff roughed up.

6 “I will build a wall and make Mexico pay for that wall.”

7 “I am prepared to let South Korea and Japan become nuclear powers.”

8 “We need unpredictability”–Trump on the use of nuclear weapons

9 “I’d bring back waterboarding and a lot worse.”
And so ends the reputation of decency, honor, and human rights that once were ideals of America.

10. “One of they key problems today is that politics is such a disgrace. Good people don’t go into government.”
Well at least he’s showing some self awareness.
11. “The beauty of me is that I’m very rich.”
And not that fabulous barnet of yours?
12. “It’s freezing and snowing in New York – we need global warming!”
Definitely not missing the point…
13. “I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”
This needed to be repeated. Possibly (/definitely) one of the creepiest things we’ve ever heard…
14. “My fingers are long and beautiful, as, it has been well documented, are various other parts of my body.”
Ew.
15. “I have never seen a thin person drinking Diet Coke.”
We’re glad he’s so concerned about the obesity crisis.
16. “I think the only difference between me and the other candidates is that I’m more honest and my women are more beautiful.”
Women aren’t possessions, Donald. They can’t belong to you.
17. “You’re disgusting.”
To put this into context, Donald Trump said this to the opposing lawyer during a court case when she asked for a medical break to pump breast milk for her three-month-old daughter.
18. “The point is, you can never be too greedy.”
As all the contractors he hired, students who attended his “university,” and many others he has shafted will testify.
19. “Sorry, there is no STAR on the stage tonight!”
In his Twitter liveblogging of the Democratic debate, Trump seemed to think he was watching a talent show rather than looking for the next POTUS.
20. “My Twitter has become so powerful that I can actually make my enemies tell the truth.”
We think Donald may be overestimating the power of Twitter. But he does love his wee hours of the morning rants.
21. “My IQ is one of the highest — and you all know it! Please don’t feel so stupid or insecure; it’s not your fault.”
Don’t worry, we won’t. But is an impressive 155.
22. “I have so many fabulous friends who happen to be gay, but I am a traditionalist.”
What does that even mean?
23. “The other candidates — they went in, they didn’t know the air conditioning didn’t work. They sweated like dogs…How are they gonna beat ISIS? I don’t think it’s gonna happen.”
Because sweating = the inability to solve a political crisis. Gotcha.

24. “Look at those hands, are they small hands? And, [Republican rival Marco Rubio] referred to my hands: ‘If they’re small, something else must be small.’ I guarantee you there’s no problem. I guarantee.”
Along with the petition to keep him out of the UK, can we also campaign for Trump to stop talking about his penis?
25. “Thanks sweetie. That’s nice”
Said Donald in typically patronising style to a female 9/11 survivor. Inappropriate – and quite creepy.
26. “Lyin’ Ted Cruz just used a picture of Melania from a shoot in his ad. Be careful, Lyin’ Ted, or I will spill the beans on your wife!”
Threatening your opponent’s wife on Twitter? Stay classy, Don… And there was nothing to spill, just Trump being his usuall vile self.
27. “I was down there, and I watched our police and our firemen, down on 7-Eleven, down at the World Trade Center, right after it came down”
Ah 7-Eleven, great convenience store, and def not to be confused with a national tragedy and symbol of global terrorism, eh Trump?
28. “The only card [Hillary Clinton] has is the woman’s card. She’s got nothing else to offer and frankly, if Hillary Clinton were a man, I don’t think she’d get 5 percent of the vote. The only thing she’s got going is the woman’s card, and the beautiful thing is, women don’t like her.”
Speaking from a, errr, woman’s perspective, we reckon ol’ Trumpy may be a little off with this one.
29. “Number one, I have great respect for women. I was the one that really broke the glass ceiling on behalf of women, more than anybody in the construction industry.”
Thank you Donald. Thank you for all your help. A lie, but thank you.
30. “I’m just thinking to myself right now, we should just cancel the election and just give it to Trump, right?”

"40 Wall Street actually was the second-tallest building in downtown Manhattan... And now it’s the tallest." –Donald Trump, bragging about his building following the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center in an interview with WWOR/UPN 9 News in New York (Sept. 11, 2001)

"Iraq and Iran were very similar militarily, and they’d fight, fight, fight, and then they’d rest. They’d fight, fight, fight, and then Saddam Hussein would do the gas, and somebody else would do something else, and they’d rest." –Donald Trump, demonstrating his knowledge of foreign policy at a town hall meeting in Virginia Beach, VA (Sept. 6, 2016)

"If she gets to pick her judges – nothing you can do, folks. Although, the Second Amendment people. Maybe there is. I don’t know." –Donald Trump, in what many interpreted to be a suggestion that someone might shoot Hillary Clinton, her Supreme Court picks, or both, Wilmington, North Carolina campaign rally, August 9, 2016

"Why can’t we use nuclear weapons?" –Donald Trump, reportedly asking a foreign policy adviser three times during a meeting why the U.S. couldn’t use its nuclear weapons stockpile, according to MSNBC's Joe Scarborough. This is questionable because there is no direct source, yet at several other times Trump said the same thing.

In an interview with Chris Matthews, Trump stated “Somebody hits us within ISIS — you wouldn`t fight back with a nuke?” And further after that comment:
MATTHEWS: “OK. The trouble is, when you said that, the whole world heard it. David Cameron in Britain heard it. The Japanese, where we bombed them in 45, heard it. They`re hearing a guy running for president of the United States talking of maybe using nuclear weapons. Nobody wants to hear that about an American president.”
TRUMP: “Then why are we making them? Why do we make them?”
In a follow up interview with Bolling:
TRUMP: Well, I don’t want to take cards off the table. I would never do that. The last person to press that button would be me. Hey, I’m the one that didn’t want to go into Iraq from the beginning. The last person that wants to play the nuclear card believe me is me. But you can never take cards off the table either from a moral stand — from any standpoint and certainly from a negotiating standpoint.
BOLLING: Donald, I understand they are not taking the cards off the table for ISIS or Islamic terror. But when Chris expanded to Europe, what about that?
TRUMP: Europe is a big place. I’m not going to take cards off the table. We have nuclear capability. Now, our capability is going down rapidly because of what we’re doing. It’s in bad shape. The equipment is not properly maintained. There are all lot of talk about that. And that’s a bad thing not a good thing. The last person to use nuclear would be Donald Trump. That’s the way I feel. I think it is a horrible thing. The thought of it is horrible. But I don’t want to take anything off the table. We have to negotiate. There will be times maybe when we’re going to be in a very deep, very difficult, very horrible negotiation. The last person — I’m not going to take it off the table. And I said it yesterday. And I stay with it.

WALLACE: You want to have a nuclear arms race on the Korean peninsula?
TRUMP: In many ways, and I say this, in many ways, the world is changing. Right now, you have Pakistan and you have North Korea and you have China and you have Russia and you have India and you have the United States and many other countries have nukes.
WALLACE: Understood.
TRUMP: It’s not like, gee whiz, nobody has them.

Lose of freedom of speech, lose of right to bear arms, lose of good education unless the new communists state wants you for their work force, the lose of freedom as we know it.The plan for the new world order is to break the strongest country in the world and the rest would follow. Look at the european news our victory has given many hope that they to can follow the brits and us in regaining the freedoms that we have lost. We are setting the stage for others to follow. One of the french presidental runners is very happy that trump won and is excited that she can use many of his ideas for her campain to win. Most of the european country have been around for more years then you have fingers and toes we on the other hand we are concidered still to be very young but damn look what we have made and look at what we almost let slip through our fingers. I saw a post where an australian was very strong that we not let go of our guns he stated that all the good news how well it was working them was a LIE that the only one it was working for was the criminals that were walking into peoples homes and killing them.I do remember dear killary putting australia up as a future for us seeing how well it was working for the australians so I guess the citizens aren't as impressed as their goverment which is pushing to join the one world order. If she lies about everything what makes you think even a small amount of her promises arent just lie's to get elected. Believe me her and obama had a whole other world planned for all of us .

I recently ran across an interesting perspective of Donald Trump from 1990.

Author Lynn Allison, in her 1990, book "How to be Stress Free" used Donald Trump as an example
as to the various ways people deal with stress.

Donald thrives on snaring bigger and better business deals, and probably relaxes just engineering each conquest.
With Donald's bountiful energy and business genius, his relaxation is winning.
For Trump, sitting by the pool and soaking up sunshine may well trigger higher stress levels.
He is most pleased with his accomplishments, a sign of a contented individual.
He also insisted that evening meals were spent in the family without interruption.
Another Trump secret is that he rises early, about 4:00 AM; to get a head start on the day.

President elect Trump looks like the type of person who is well suited to not only handle,
but thrive on the demands and stress that go with the job.

Hillary, on the other hand, looked like a zombie after one year of campaigning.

While I am not so much in love with Trump, I do support much of what you are saying here. The liberals have become maniacs and when they can't have their way they take to the streets. How much did conservatives have their way when Obama violated the constitution repeatedly and yet congress did not impeach him? But they are smarter than take to the streets. They voted for someone who might possibly be able to fix America. If the liberals don't like what happened, they can petition congress to impeach Trump, but that won't happen until he has committed an impeachable offense, which is the right way to do things. Why don't the liberals wait and see what he actually does and what effect it has on the nation before they start their silly little violent protests that accomplish nothing and eventually only make it possible for a dictator to take over? That is how the dictators have always taken over, by creating violence and chaos and then creating their own order out of the chaos. But effectively creating a tyranny out of it. The same plot was used in the series called "Star Wars" because the movie was engendered out of the way tyrants always seize power. And subconsciously people know it, so they loved "Star Wars." The liberal population subconsciously knows it as well, but they are so full of anger and desire for revenge, that they refuse to face not only the truth that is "out there," but the truth that is within. Therefore, the average liberal is a mentally and emotionally divided psychopath who is completely out of touch with his or her own person.

Ever since the election of 1960 was "stolen", voters have decried the corruption in our national political system.

Some have gone so far as to "write in" the name of their dog to express their disgust with the choices offered by the parties.

Never has a presidential election gone by but the voters I talked to spoke of the need for an outsider, the "fictional politician"

who wasn't "bought and paid for" by one special interest group or another. Finally, 56 years later, along comes the Donald.

Just one chance is all the disillusioned (Hillary's deplorable's) voters of a half century were going to get. Hell Yes, we took it!

The odds were much better than the alternative, so we took the chance. Now the dice are rolling, we wait.

I see the DOW just closed above 19k for the first time in.history. i'm not sure that is a good thing. The higher it goes, the less the dollar is worth and all this economic gain is on paper and doesn't relate much.to the folks on the street. It is an indicator of anticipated lower taxes and more consumer spending, but I'd.prefer to wait a while and see.

It seems to me that the stocks are becoming substantially overvalued as artificially low interest rates drive investments into the markets.

The Federal Reserve System gets to make the rules it seems.

Everybody said the DIA was dropping because Trump might make it to the Presidency, but as soon as it first appeared he was winning the DOW surged like crazy. Maybe that was more leftist political propaganda to make it look like it would not be a good thing for Trump to be President. The DOW tends to drop significantly every seven years, and it did last year though not as much. That tends to indicate to me there is something wrong, and some bigger cycle is happening right now. It would appear that it will keep going up for the next seven years. I am not so sure, as the underpinnings are incorrect. When the DOW rises unprecedentedly, it may be a sign that the super elite are preparing to crash the market, but it is no longer time for it to do so. So who knows. The liberals think Obama did a great job with the economy, but they do not look past the obvious. For several years interest rates have been extremely low. The economy is being propped up by unnatural means. Any economic recovery has nothing to do with the government regardless of democrat or republican. It has to do with corporate profits and market manipulation. But corporate profits can be deceiving when interest rates and other factors are held artificially low. i would say the same thing whether it is a Democrat or a Republican at the helm. When things are artificial, a crash is bound to come sooner or later. Now it does seem like another seven years must go by first, but maybe not with the artificiality of the entire system. The stock market also is probably a little over stimulated because so many mutual companies are buying stocks and other commodities for people's retirement. That would tend to make the price to earnings ratio a little higher. The P to E does not SEEM to be excessively high now, but I would have to look at it more deeply to be sure. I think the market is SOMEWHAT overpriced. But the future will tell. And Donald Trump or no Donald Trump, it is very likely that they start microchipping people this year; at least they plan to. Many people will not accept that chip, which could put a real damper on the economy. But these things are speculative for the short term. For the long term they are not. Microchipping is GOING to happen. A crash is GOING to happen. The only question is, when.

This is a link to the Washington Post article about Trump and his agreement with The New York Times for an off-the-record then on-the-record interview. He canceled first, then agreed to an interview. I think he has every right to feel attacked by some news organizations, but it is because of what he has SAID. Hillary was the star of the media but she is beyond redemption because of what she has DONE. This is the greatest reason Trump was elected. We could not vote for someone when we KNOW what we will get with them. WIth Trump, yes it is up in the air, but I agree, I will take what comes. Better the unknown than the Socialist world we would live in with Hillary. I am always amazed by people, I will wait for Trump to amaze me before I condemn him.
