What connects us to our Past?

Folklore, memories,drugs and alcohol.
We cannot bring forth a successful future unless we can recall the lessons of our ancestors.
If we cannot heed the call that is crying out between the pages, we will be relegated elsewhere to bacterial status.
We cannot get along with each other, yet we lay claim to the Universe.
Sapiens have a real shot at greatness .
Make wise choices, and know that tomorrow greets us all.

Make wise choices indeed. I instill that to my daughter often. But, when it comes to politics and the perceived "wise choice" by individuals (within a collective mindset), I think that wisdom is taking a backseat to the desire to win at all costs. The fear of losing is clouding the judgement of the majority. I keep hearing that "A" is unfit for office because of "X, Y & Z". The argument for their candidate is much weaker than the alternative. If your strongest argument is a vote against the other guy, then your argument is sorely flawed and worthy of introspect and reexamination. Maybe we should be working to develop more choices in order to discover the right one.

Well, thing is, we aren't bees or ants.
Unless you are Hellstroms Hive fan

There should not be a collective mindset, despite media attempts to give birth to one.
