Rule 9 of the Republican National Committee rules governs "Filling Vacancies in Nominations," and stipulates that should the party's presidential or vice presidential candidate leave the ticket for whatever reason, the hole may be filled either by a reconvening of the national convention or by the party committee itself. The vice presidential nominee is not given any preferential consideration. Here is a list of people who would be opposing Killary: Mike Pence, Paul Ryan and Ted Cruz....either one would beat Killary. They have experience and present themselves well. Only Ted Cruz has an obstacle, but it was not a problem for obama so it should not be a problem for Mr. Cruz. More than 34,000 Republican voters have already cast their ballots for the 2016 general election according to the U.S. Election Project, 8,000 of them in the battleground state of North Carolina and another 5,000 in Florida. To forcibly remove him from the ballot at this point will absolutely ruin the confidence in how the voting is run and many will rightfully claim election fraud by the Democrats.
