As I've said several times I'm not overly smart, no formal education to speak of except 11th grade and GED and then 2 years college equivalent, from there self educated as limited as that is... So some will pay no mind to what I'm about to write and I understand, others will just belittle my thoughts and I also understand, but I must say this:

If you are Mexican you know who you are, you know your history... If you are German the same can be said, and the Irish, French, Jew, Negro, all nationalities know who and what they are and where they come from and what makes them who they are...

The young, those 18 - 35 know, and those 35 - 60 and 60 till old, we all know what we are about, sure my life experiences are different at 73 than a 25 year old, but I remember being 25 (yesterdays a problem), so we aren't that far removed, except by those who want to drive a wedge between us that is...

The same can be said about "Blacks" & "Whites" we are all Americans and if we let ourselves we are one people, but again there are the wedge drivers...

Those who think Communism is a good thing, PLEASE look up the history of the movement, it's easy today just fricking Google the question...

Those that think Socialism is great, the same thing look up what you think is so wonderful...

Those that think Progressivism is great (I'll bet a good many don't even know what modern Progressives stand for) look it up...

If you're a Democrat do you know how your Party started and what it stood for, do you know what it stands for today??? Maybe not, look It up...

If you're a Republican do you really know how the party was formed and why, and what it has stood for since 1858??? No, look it up...

If you think Hillary Clinton is the right person to be President, PLEASE look up her 40 plus year history as a Leftist Democrat, it's all there if you aren't to lazy to find the truth... Is she a liar, corrupt, crooked, what about Benghazi, Libya, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Russia, China, Syria??? Look her up, find out for yourself...

Great post Don. Unfortunately, we are basically a nation of Sheep, that just follow whoever, and don't take the time to research things on their own, and make their own informed decision. Politics is a dirty game, you can't just believe what you hear, and take it as truth. Do some digging. research this thing, and make an informed decision. The future of our country, and our children, and grandchildren is at stake here.

To set the record straight, your question on being a Democrat, [q]If you're a Democrat do you know how your Party started and what it stood for, do you know what it stands for today??? [/q] The Democratic party of the 60's has morphed into something so far left, it is no longer my party. I truly can't truly say I would sign up for any other party, because all of them suck for one reason or another. It's like the two main parties have switched place. In truth, I would prefer to a Supreme court and Congress that doesn't takes side, but follows the Constitution. Then do what is necessary to keep our Country safe for the next 10 generations.
