Most democrats even leave words such as democrat, liberal, progressive, or any other reference to their political philosophy off of their campaign posters, literature and websites. Republicans usually put "Republican for Senate/ House/ President/etc., immediately after their name.
Most democrats dislike being identified as liberal, progressive or even democrat. Even the most rabid extreme leftist democrats try to pass themselves off as "centrist" or "only slightly left of center."
Most Democratic Party members appear to be ashamed of being one. I'd hate to be a member of the Democratic Party, and have to hang my head when asked about party affiliation.

That's why there are so many RINOs in Congress. They profess to be "conservative" to get elected. Believe it or not, the majority of people in this country (not counting the "entitlement class") want to
conserve. They're simply trying to survive by keeping more of the money they work hard to earn. Being "liberal" or "progressive" connotes "redistribution". I believe people (the ones earning the money) are sick and tired of this philosophy.

Maybe we should go back to where only the property owners could vote. That way only the ones with a stake in the game can determine the outcome. It sure sounds fair to me and isn't that what Obama is all about fairness. Oh that's right it is only fair to steal the money from those that earn the money and then redistribute that money to those who do nothing.

Can you possibly explain how you get your information?

The Party of deciet. I've been known that for a long time just like I know the GOP is the Party of Busy-bodies.
Funny now since the Dems have blurred the lines of being decietful and being busy-bodies. I'm being generous since I have a whole laundry list of what the Democratic party is.
It is so true that the Democrat party can't be truthful about their agenda or they couldn't get elected, I read an interesting article, and sad to say I forget the author, but he basically said that the country has only 20% of people who self identify as liberal, yet they have been overtly successful in implementing their agenda, his research concluded that they are successful because they lie and cheat, but even then they could not succeed without having a media willing to propagandize for them, in every society where freedom is lost, the first stage is propaganda, then coercion, and then force, wonder where the fundamental transformation of America will lead us
I agree with all of the above, and I really despise liberals, as well..but I wish more people on OPP were aware of the other world, behind the scenes..what's really going on and being hidden from the public. Illuminati..conspiracies. Somebody who could explain it better than I could. I mean, I know all about it, but terrible at explaining it..

Let's don't forget that what Obama, and the Democrats are proposing is the same failed ideology that has been tried over and over again, and the stupid RINOS think this is business as usual, but for those actually paying attention we see that this fundamental transformation is the subversion of our Constitutional rights
