Not sure what that has to do with the discussion, but OK. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I know that the recent redefining of democracy as a mutually exclusive alternative to a republic is a popular fad on the right, but I stick to the classic definitions where "democracy" is a reference to ANY form of government where citizens have a say and a republic is ANY form of government without a monarch. Given these classic definitions, the two terms are NOT mutually exclusive.
We don't have a king so we are a definitely a republic. Our citizens have the constitutional right to vote so we are also a constitutional democracy. We can therefore be described as a democracy, a republic, a constitutional democracy, a constitutional republic... All these terms are accurate, with the later two being slightly more descriptive, that's all.
You can certainly make the argument that we are less democratic than many of us would like to be but that has far more to do with prevalent desire to let other people make all our decisions for us than the intentions of our founding.

So getting back to the topic... Has anyone considered the fact that if Trump is elected he will be the first president to spend his first days in office on trial for fraud? This isn't fun-filled fiction... this is even better... it's fact. His trial date is scheduled for Nov 28th 2016 and we can expect the trial to last for a little while, most likely overlapping the first days of the new administration.
