There are some that see evidence of a connection between climate change and geological change/earthquakes.
It appears to have some data, though not proof of eminent danger.

I knew it was just a matter if time. Good lord! what was causing all the earthquakes before man made industries. I know, dinosaur farts. Look you have to admit the climate change people will do and say about anything to advance their agenda. Earlier they blamed terrorism on man made global warming.

I'm not taking a stance one way or the other on the earthquake part (and I live in Northern California!!!!)
But I do believe we have an impact on our climate, and that a lot more is inter-related than we care to admit.
Whatever one believes about the cause of climate change, we are fu$#*ng up our planet and we need to stop it.

And everyone knows terrorism is caused by Obama or Christians, depending on whom one asks.

Don't worry we'll fu$# up each other way before the planet does. Terrorism is caused by hatred. My belief.

The connection is in the reverse. A volcano for instance causes so much pollution that the climate changes for a number of years. the plates on the earths crust would not be likely to respond to a one tenth of one degree change or even one degree. The connections that happened millions of years ago that caused the earth to warm and earthquakes and volcanos to happen have nothing to do with man made global warming, but to the natural warming and cooling of the planet.

I must agree with your common sense.
No nation yet ,has afforded the time or money to build a decent climate model.
The computer time is relegated elsewhere ,primarily thermonuclear equations .

Paul, Paul, Paul!! Do you really believe this bunch of hooey?
How does the weather affect what happens with the tectonic plates deep inside the earth? I'm not a meterologist, or a geologist, but I can't connect how what we do to the air impacts the plates a mile or more beneath our feet.

Read the article all the boring way through, Archie.
Now I didn't say I agreed or disagreed with the connection, but I do think it's worth considering if there are facts and data.
This is science: explore a theory until the data is conclusive one way or the other.

I recently moved to Northern California, love it Paul. Redding California with lakes, rivers, forest in every direction.

As for Man made warming. Not!
Here is more recent science.
In light of scientific evidence, and pro-global warming science debunked and proven tens times over to be a fraud. The liberals lash out with hate towards the minds siding with level and relevant proof of this scam.
Agenda 2030 wrapped in global warming will cost Americans trillions of dollars, impose restrictions on public land, will choke out millions of jobs, and put our great American Constitution second to UN laws. Yes American citizens will lose constitutional liberties and be subject to UN laws, including the second amendment.
Leftist liberals cheer trashing the greatest nation, the wealthiest, greatest military, greatest liberties for what? Deception of a false utopian socialist, no borders united states of Europe in place of the mighty united States of America! Our poorest have medical (medicaid ), food stamps, wefare, and the list of entitlements goes on, and until obama a growing middle class, and opportunities to be among America's wealthiest, destroyed by the global warming scam, agenda 2030.

we need Trump to destroy the leftist agendas, lies, deceptions.
Look at every liberal/hillary tv ad with nothing but lies, the media bought and paid for all lies to get hillary in. The desperation to complete the destruction of America, Obama accelerated at light speed with a third term hillary must be stopped.
Go Trump

Jack - Please tell me you did not mean to use the attached article as support for denying man's impact on climate.
It was written for a financial blog ("hedge" in the title should be an indicator, but I looked it up anyway) whose intent is to advise its readers on how to grow their wealth. Of course they would advise against anything that might make production more expensive. It's also known to support the idea that crazy conspiratorial schemes are at work.

It's kind of like asking the fox to review and approve your plans for the henhouse.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zero_Hedge

Of course, not being a scientist, I have to exercise at least a little bit of faith in those who are in fact scientists. And I do so.

Unfortunately you and I are likely not to be around when the complete results of the abuse of our planet comes home to roost. It will be your grand children and generations beyond. If you are willing to gamble with their environment then you are of course free to advocate for your position.

I do find it ironic that I, who will have no offspring, care very deeply about the Earth on which future generations will have to live.

I do no argue we are abusing our environment. Fukushima is buried, the truth is horrific! !!!!! And that's only a very, very small fraction of the damage done to our oceans. God help us when the millions upon millions of tons (50 gallon barrels ) rust through, filled with toxic waste, poisoning beyond imagination. Our lakes are poisoned by agricultural toxic chemical run off, causing toxic algae blooms. So toxic there are often mass burials of wild animals come to drink at the waters edge. Rivers from agriculture and even worse mining. Then we ask, what toxic waste that has been buried by millions of metric tons leaching into our ground waters. The air so toxic it is responsible for many diseases nearly unheard of pre industrial revolution. And America is now one of the most clean air and water nations on earth, China and India are thousands of times more toxic. This is a fight worth fighting for, not carbon dioxide or man made global warming. If Obama would have drafted a war to protect us from toxic waste, with focus on China and India, I believe he would have conservative support, instead failed model's that even provide lower carbon that the earth experienced in the 1600's, and a fraction of what earth had only a few thousand years ago.
Global warming and carbon happen at high levels throughout earths history, but toxic chemicals released world wide, destroying the natural cycle, causing hundreds of millions of diseases and sickness, what do you think is a better fight for liberals and conservatives to get behind?
