In the days of radio, one would hear patriotic songs all the time, nobody burned the flag and people worked together to help each other. It's sad how America has gone down the drain.

The sentiment is certainly appealing and I wish it were true, but the words are from a song not from scripture. In truth, there are people who hate God so vehemently, so deeply, that if Jesus were to appear in the heavens in one hour, surrounded by legions of angels, there are multitudes of people who would "gnash their teeth" and shake their fist at Him.
