Were you thinking of Savik (Vulcan father of logic) or of Q, the the existentialist anarchist? Anyway, that wasn't quite my thought. I could just never get my justification concept around the idea of a Christian-type God creating us, his most precious invention, granting us free will and the ability to know good from evil and then leaving out simple things like, say, the ability to regenerate important body parts. He, She or It has the where-with-all to engineer some of the most complex biological systems (here I'm leaving out evolution) that we, as mere mortals, can imagine, but grants that ability to lizards, earthworms and others that are apparently only here for us to reign over. So, leaving out my logic flow chart, I can only come to the conclusion that God is damned good at detailed biology and physics, but not so good at the macro view of quality of life. Kind of like putting Deep Blue in a car and forgetting the windshield wipers and the door handles. This can only be intentional or accidental. So, he is either an idiot savant or a sadist.

Assuming It is an evil soul-eating spiritual predator is more consistant with reality and the rest of the story.

MW, what makes you think Trump even a Christian? And what does being a patriot, a warrior, and a capitalist have to do with anything Christian? You are a sick little man MW. You've been given the choice between two evils and you chose ONE! If evil is your savior MW where does that say that you are going...

I see you didn't read the article. God has used "ungodly" to serve his purpose throughout the ages. Why don't you research King Cyrus, a pagan, for one?

I've never said that Trump is my savior. If you think that I'm putting my faith in elected leaders to save us you're sadly mistaken. The only one who can save us is Jesus Christ.

YOU believe it is moral to follow a command to crush ones own child's head with a rock?

What if you are WRONG? Well she's still dead! No God's, no ghosts,

no future!

Pascal's wager in reverse!

I read you highlights wasn't that enough? I just find it funny that you think god would send someone like Trump to save us. First, he doesn't care about us, he is in this for himself and no one else. You say he is a capitalist but his behavior is more of a corporatist who runs around buying government officials so he doesn't have to compete with others one on one. In fact, anytime he has had to compete he failed and then proceeded to screw everyone around him. And you called him a patriot right? So what about him is patriotic? Everything he's pulled out for his campaign are just cliche's from past presidents. "Make America Great Again" etc. It takes more than a belief in cliche's to be a real patriot. The first chance he got he shipped his manufacturing overseas and has had no problem bringing in immigrants to staff his projects. Wouldn't a patriotic American hire Americans first and foremost? I mean, how much more could American labor add to cost of ties that start in the hundreds and suits that start in the thousands? And hasn't he been running around saying that Americans earn too much? I noticed that he didn't include himself in that equation did he! Now, being a Warrior. God that's hysterical. Here's a man who when out of his way to avoid military service and you think he has any of the qualities of a warrior! The only thing the man know how to do is denigrate and demean others and that's about as far as his "warriorness" goes...

Please inspire us with your equally ridiculous protesting!

Below, I have attached an article from Wired Magazine: March 2012. "The Messiah Complex". According to the opening, a man Richard Hodges, thinftks he is Christ.

I acknowledge one thing, you come honestly to your name tag, Dummy Boy. When you try to compare Jesus with someone who thinks he's a reincarnation of Jesus you refuse to even engage in honest dialogue. The same can be said for the Blessed Virgin Mary. One of the apologetic arguments for the validity of Christ, for those like yourself with no formal training, is that Jesus was either a liar, a lunatic or Lord. You've already made your choice so live and die with it.

Considering all the writings regarding Jesus Christ from His time on earth to include those continuing to this very day and you compare those to an ARTICLE about some person with mental illness? You waste my time and, personally, I don't care. You've made your choice so why are you fighting against it. You should wear your "No Love, No Fear" T-shirt every day.

Why can an immoral God not exist?

Oh I have no problem accepting my choices Padre but with an god who is Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent--who, because of that, would know what my last action would be before he even created me--how is it that free will even matters? I could choose up or down, this side or that, and every move I made god would have known what it was before I even made it. He knew when he created me that my ability to reason would make me an atheist and he would also know that the older I become the more determined my resolve.

You can talk about freewill all you like Padre but if you are playing Chess against someone who knows each move you make before you make it--what difference would the outcome make? I mean, even if you were to win, it would only be because god let you. So the only only rational outcome is for you to loose, which according to you is what is going to happen to me anyway.

I do believe freewill exists Padre but because it exists I don't think it possible for the god of the bible to exist. Hitler was not nearly as vicious in his holocaust as is the American holocaust movement that sanctioned the murder of 56 million thoroughly and completely innocent unborn children. Your concept of free will is that God should stop evil but only the evil you call evil and allow the good you consider to be good. In effect you want to play God. Do you believe those who commit evil and never seek forgiveness and, where applicable, restitution will not be punished? If so, why be concerned? Why care? If you seek justice do you see yourself more perfect than He who gives perfect justice and is perfect love?

Change "evil soul eater" to "evil child rapist."

Answer your question?

Calling me an idiot and denigrating what I said is not an answer. So I'll repeat so that everyone understands how much of a unintellectual, hypocrite you are:

If someone, dressed in plainclothes walked to the front of your church, and claimed to be the Messiah and the son of God, Would you believe him. Better yet, make it a woman. Now: do you understand why 99% of Jews rejected Jesus, do you? Or are you going to call me names?

What formal training do I need, is my bible broken? Here's a stove, fill a pan with water, it is 212 degrees Fahrenheit (at sea level), when the water starts boiling.

What kind of God do you think one is allowed to worship, a complicated, unapproachable, confusing, narcissist; or a loving God?

27 (But) as for you, Christ has poured out his Spirit on you. As long as his Spirit remains in you, you do not need anyone to teach you. For his Spirit teaches you about everything and what he teaches is true, not false. Obey the Spirit's teaching, then, and remain in union with Christ.
28 Yes, my children remain in union with him, so that when he appears we may be full of courage and need not hide in shame from him on the Day he comes.
29 You know that Christ is righteous; you should know, then, that everyone who does what is right is God's child. -1 John 2: 27-29

1 My dear friends do not believe all who claim to have the Spirit, but test them to find out if the spirit they have comes from God. For many false prophets have gone out everywhere.
2 This is how you will be able to know whether it is God's Spirit: anyone who acknowledges that Jesus Christ came as a human being has the Spirit who comes from God.
3 But anyone who denies this about Jesus does not have the Spirit from God. The spirit that he has is from the Enemy of Christ; you heard that it would come, and now it is here in the world already.
4 But you belong to God, my children, and have defeated the false prophets, because the Spirit who is in you is more powerful than the spirit in those who belong to the world.
5 Those false prophets speak about matters of the world, and the world listens to them because they belong to the world.
6 But we belong to God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever does not belong to God does not listen to us. This, then, is how we can tell the difference between the Spirit of truth and the spirit of
error.
-1 John 4: 1-6

25 A teacher of the Law came up and tried to trap Jesus.
"Teacher," he asked,
"what must I do to receive eternal life?"
26 Jesus answered him,
"What do the Scriptures say? How do you interpret them?"
27 The man answered, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with your mind"; and "Love your neighbor as you love yourself."
28 "You are right," Jesus replied;
"do this and you will live."
-Luke 10: 25-28

Lastly, I posted the first page of the article, you're a typical lazy jackass that didn't bother to go to their website, find the article and read it. The article is about a psychologist, that meets Messiah's almost weekly. He has made a career of it.

Read all of the books you want...I can tell you. It hasn't made you a nice person, you are not Christ-like and Christ is a long reach for you clown...long long reach. Hypocrite.
