Every time I think that Paul has something logical to present, he disappoints me by intentionally being so obtuse because it seems the most important thing is that the LGBTQ political concepts be strengthened at all costs. It could be that I am misinterpreting his statements so if someone else can explain a different motivation that makes sense, please post it.

The horror of Orlando is a result of Political Correctness run a muck. The shooter had been reported as dangerous, the FBI spoke to him twice. But in our PC world, you're not allowed to even think that someone that's involved in ISLAM could be a terrorist. The words "Muslim" and "Terrorism" can't be said in the same sentence by those who are PC. Ignorance IS NOT bliss. Islamic Law commands killing of any sexually immoral, or worse yet, any one who won't convert to Islam. Anybody, no matter their religion or sexual orientation, who has been reported as being in touch with terrorist groups, or has made threatening statements, should be thoroughly investigated. People who have shown possible mental illness should not be allowed to own guns. Healthy, law abiding citizens should be able to have guns to protect themselves.

Orlando wasn't caused by homophobes, remember the shooter was himself gay. It was caused by Political Correctness. There had been signs that he was dangerous. His co-workers had reported that he was disturbed, and very, very angry. He has connected with terrorist groups on line, and even said he was going to do this. The P.C. world that we live in does not allow for Muslims or gays to be scrutinized for their behaviors or threats. Unfortunately, this kind of sickness will continue as ling as PC is more important than the people and safety of America.

People don't walk around with their religions tattooed on their foreheads and the guy was an American and as hard as it is to understand--has the exact same rights as you! And yes, people who have shown to be mentally ill shouldn't be allowed a gun. Now would you please tell me the definition of what mental illness is so we can quickly have it applies...

Yeah, with a gun there aren't all the body parts to have to deal with. I knew there was a positive about this--just had to look for it. And no, as a liberal democrat there are few ways that we are confused. As for "they" when I run across one I will get back to you...
