Then you can bet your last dollar he will remain as President until the time comes when he deems the situation normal. IF HE EVER DOES!! President for life? Don't be surprised. And if and when he does just that he will get Garland approved for SCOTUS and the 22nd Amendment will be ruled null and void. From there it only gets worse and we would also see the 2nd Amendment ruled unconstitutional and once he gets our guns he will unstoppable. We live in a very sad country right now that might only be getting worse.
