It's not quite as simple as " Bush Lied". The aluminum tube issue was very complicated. Here is an excellent explanation

Cheney lied about nukes... he knew the tubes found were for conventional weapons and told Colin Powell to lie at the UN....That was Bushes proof to go to war... In reality he knew of the chemical weapons....But there is an even more striking instance of the United States ignoring use of the chemical weapons that killed tens of thousands of people — during the grinding Iraq-Iran war in the 1980s. As documented in 2002 by Washington Post reporter Michael Dobbs, the Reagan administration knew full well it was selling materials to Iraq that was being used for the manufacture of chemical weapons, and that Iraq was using such weapons, but U.S. officials were more concerned about whether Iran would win rather than how Iraq might eke out a victory. Dobbs noted that Iraq’s chemical weapons’ use was “hardly a secret, with the Iraqi military issuing this warning in February 1984: ”The invaders should know that for every harmful insect, there is an insecticide capable of annihilating it . . . and Iraq possesses this annihilation insecticide.”

As Dobbs wrote:

A review of thousands of declassified government documents and interviews with former policymakers shows that U.S. intelligence and logistical support played a crucial role in shoring up Iraqi defenses against the “human wave” attacks by suicidal Iranian troops. The administrations of Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush authorized the sale to Iraq of numerous items that had both military and civilian applications, including poisonous chemicals and deadly biological viruses, such as anthrax and bubonic plague
Cheney lied about nukes... he knew the tubes found... (show quote)

Cheney out right lied to every American citizen and the world... We went to war over this... now you people want to talk about scandals and health care... wake up... If you cant except the truth on where we came from... how can you fix the future

There were many different opinions on the tubes. Read the link I provided. It is impossible for ONE MAN to present false information alone. Experts at many government organizations from CIA to Oakbrook Nuclear offered opinions and not everyone agreed. I know it doesn't fit your propaganda " Cheney Lied" etc but it is the truth.

Are you going to wait until the next President takes office before you get equally exorcised about Obama's lies and illegal actions?

Dennis... read your own link.... think about it and draw a conclusion ... nuclear energy experts VS CIA war experts, Cheney chose the war experts

I did. It was a very complex decision entered into by 10 agencies who voted. Hundreds of people involved

This polarized debate was formalized, but not resolved, in October 2002 with the release of a Director of Central Intelligence’s National Intelligence Estimate (NIE). In this process, roughly ten individual intelligence agencies each have one vote, which pitted one agency against the other in a drive for a majority vote. The CIA won a majority, receiving the support of the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National Security Agency, and several military intelligence agencies.

Not quite as simple as " Cheney Lied"

Bottom line: even it's true, as Hillary would say, what difference does it make at this point? Does the Bush family present some clear and present danger to the security of this country? If it does I'll take the threat seriously.

Well Thanks for that because that was my point as Jeb will be closing flanks I'm sure.

Ok Dennis.... But I will leave you with this thought.... Is it really that complicated to involve 10 agencies to identify a alloy tube.... The correct answer is....only if you want it to be... Example... would you hunt deer with a .22 when you could use a .306...Yes you could hunt with a .22 ...but why would you.... If Husain wanted tubes for nukes... he would have bought them... he had more than enough funds

Not at all the issue. Under UN Sanctions he could not purchase the correct tubes. And there was certainly disagreement among agencies involved as to whether these could be used. And these isolated facts cannot be viewed alone. They must be taken in total context together with other intel. Such as defectors telling us Iraq had started their nuke program etc.
