Plain and simple...aliens and UFOs are demon related.

Concerning, "...anyone who believes (has faith) without any proof is an idiot..."

"For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse." Romans 1:19-20 (ESV)

Quotes from a book so full of lies, myths, heresay evidence tales, so many re-writings and editing over the centuries, so many Popes putting in passages as political expediency, does not make a compelling case for its divinity.
People have deluded themselves and been led astray by so many self-serving "false prophets" that it makes the religion look dicey at best.
I am talking about real, physical, not spiritual, not delusional and most of all not beliefs with out proof. Carl Sagan, said it best. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. A big claim that God exists requires a big form of proof. Not quotes from a book mostly written from the sixth century and later. Belief is good, but it is not fact. Believing yourself is fine, as long as you don't try to force it on others with nothing more than your personal belief. Would you buy a car from a salesman who said "I believe this the best deal you can get for this car." Come on, I need something better than that and I am open minded and willing to look at any evidence presented objectively and without religious bias. I am looking for the truth my self. I would love to "see, actually see" some compelling proof. I would love to know the truth before I die. (68)
If we are in the "End of Days", maybe I will, if not, when?

Quotes from a book so full of lies, myths, heresay... (show quote)

Concerning you being given “truth” on a silver platter, I’ve got news for you…IT AIN’T GONNA HAPPEN. You’ve got to do that on your own (“…work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,…”) through honest introspection and HUMBLY asking for truth to be revealed to you through the Holy Spirit.

As for faith and belief…

John 20:24-29 (NLT)
One of the twelve disciples, Thomas (nicknamed the Twin), was not with the others when Jesus came. They told him, “We have seen the Lord!”

But he replied, “I won’t believe it unless I see the nail wounds in his hands, put my fingers into them, and place my hand into the wound in his side.”

Eight days later the disciples were together again, and this time Thomas was with them. The doors were locked; but suddenly, as before, Jesus was standing among them. “Peace be with you,” he said. Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side. Don’t be faithless any longer. Believe!”

“My Lord and my God!” Thomas exclaimed.

Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”

As for your derisive reply to a question that I thought you wanted an honest reply to, would you be so kind as to provide an instance of ONE…ONLY ONE…lie, myth, hearsay evidence tale, re-writing, or editing of the Bible with absolute proof that it is such.

Been reading the banter of all you good people about belief in God (Jesus) whatever. Here is something I heard once that may apply to your thinking..."Hell is where God is not." Since I am "agnostic and don't know what is true or not" I find all conversations like this interesting and informative, though not necessarily compelling. I believe that anyone who believes (has faith) without any proof is an idiot. I wish all the believers would put their resources together and come up with some real (compelling) proof and make an end of it. I would really, genuinely, truly like to know the truth about God (Jesus). Same goes for aliens and UFO's. How about it? Any takers?

Aliens?
I'd be more worried about our own species at this point...

So you are saying we should hedge our bets? Is god so naive that he doesn't know the difference between someone who actually believes in him an someone who is simply covering their ass? You seem to be saying that he is like Trump and is simply listening to the applause and nothing more.

Sorry Charlie. Can't believe in something that isn't there and I sure as hell am not going to faux believe in something 'just in case.' Even if god lacks integrity I still do...

So much of the scripture you cite speaks in generalities. How do you know the difference between god showing you something and it being something that you are just showing to yourself? The number one reason I am no longer a theist is because virtually everything I thought to be the influence of god was simply generated by myself in the hope that it was true. Some can believe in something out of the hope that it is true and others simply can't....

Faith is a wish of the heart.

Lol! I've been saying that since I was a teen. Fake believers. But they never admit it!

God might get me but, he's just going to have to understand us humans. My take on Jesus, if it were true he was god in the flesh, is that he came to know what it's like to be us. Notice he stopped interfering with humanity after he was here.

Glad to see that you are at least continuing to think about it....which speaks volumes in itself.

Perceived in what way? So you are saying that God need not be proven.
No evidence of his existence is needed or required. Sounds like the same story I have been getting all of my life. It all depends on faith that something no one has ever seen exists. All belief, no proof. Not good enough.

I am worried about our species. Aliens have their own sets of problems, I am sure. If they have come to our planet in the past or if they are still here, I am sure it is because they are studying us as an anthropological exercise.
As a species at the level of development we are at, we could not possibly hope to compete or fight against a species with who knows how long of a history. They would certainly be vastly ahead of us if they can travel the enormous expanses of space to get here. Destroying us would require nothing more than the engineering of a virus that would wipe out the human species and leave the rest of the planet intact for their use and exploitation. They may destroy our species merely to leave the rest of the planet untroubled by our presence.
We on the other hand are always on the edge of self destruction, for whatever reason, and will in all probability destroy the planet right along with our own species. If you would believe in God and the prophecies of the end times, the destruction of the Earth will take place before January of 2017. At least we don't have long to wait.

"Faith is the wish of the Heart". That is a beautiful expression. Well said.
However, I would put more faith in the person who has the truth, than one who only has belief.
