Actually, history is the past. Currently - neither party is for anything, well, other than self promotion, power and control - but nothing for anyone else.

It is not the past. Democrats are still racist. They pretend to care about blacks, yet forget about them once the elections are over. Now they are going after Christians. They support every piece of legislation that limits freedom of religion, or free speech. The Democratic party is, in fact, little different from the communist party. Our Constitution limits the damage they can do, but it's protection weakens every day. When it's gone we will be living in what most sane people would consider hell on earth.
