Just because we CAN do something, doesn't mean we should. A lesson we just can't seem to get. ANY electronic device can be hacked, spoofed, or altered. There is absolutely no SANE reason why the old paper ballot is obsolete - and they are cheaper.

That being said, we could use new technology to reduce or eliminate voter fraud. When signed in to vote, your picture is taken. A camera at the ballot box ( assuming a return to paper ballots ), uses facial recognition software to ensure that is YOU voting, then ensures that only one ballot per person is used. Streaming the camera feeds limits any possible shenanigans.

The powers that be clearly do not want a true election, they just want to make us think we have true elections, when all the evidence points to the contrary. Oh, I know that. The point is, voter fraud isn't committed by voters, it's committed by both the republican party and the democratic party.

A paper trail must be in place, and voter monitoring at all voting sites, as well as the "counting".

Mail ALL registered voters absentee ballots so they may vote in the privacy of their homes and return them via the US Mail to voter central where they can be counted and checked against the registry, under supervision, for legality and accuracy and thereby leave a paper trail for checking of any abnormalities. A less costly, easier, more efficient way to vote that would also allow the aged and the infirmed greater access to the voting process. All return ballots must meet the deadline for return. If you didn't get a ballot, you could pick one up at your local post office, like a tax form. No machines, no dead or double voting. Just a simple process that leaves a accurate paper trail. Go back to the paper ballot and then run the paper ballot through the machine to tally the votes. That way you always have the paper ballots should a recount be required.
