Heidi Cruz was a member of the CFR for five years. She was an energy investment advisor while working for Goldman Sachs. She did not "co-write" the North American Union proposal. Her involvement was peripheral, limited to some investment advice and she emphasized the need for turning the private sector loose, which is antithetical to the CFR position.
When you get to a certain point in banking or politics, any further advancement usually requires a membership in either the CFR or the Trilateral Commission, or both. The CFR has a lot of members who don't always agree with all of it's positions, as Mrs. Cruz obviously did not. Ted Cruz excoriated the CFR during his 2012 Senate run, calling a a nest of snakes and a threat to US sovereignty while his wife was still a member.
A year and a half past, Donald Trump, the fearless defender of the Second Amendment, was for a longer waiting period and a semi-auto ban. He was for a path to citizenship for wetbacks, increased h1B visas, and he still supports a version of Obamacare. He swapped horses on a lot of issues in a very short time, don't you think? When he is compared to Reagan becoming Conservative, Reagan did it over a period of 2 decades, not 18 months. I know people can change, I just want to know, is he a real born again conservative, or does he just want to date the preacher's daughter?

Another left arm or another right arm of the corporate party is not going to reduce, much less eliminate, the corruption of the deep state that rules in DC. "Conservative or rightwing nut or rino or progressive or liberal or moonbat, doesn't matter.

The fact is that Trump and Sanders are not owne and beholden to Wall Street. What is anyone that has been paid $675,000 for 3 "speeches" to Goldman Sacs? Ask bitch Clinton.

OTOH - Reality.
Cruz is not like by the Bushs. Cruz is a true conservative, which clearly bothers many liberals.

Not so fast, Pedro.................I suggest you read "Shadows of Power" for a little context. Not all of history happened in the last 30 seconds.

Come on Loki, you know better than that.

" The Council-sponsored Task Force applauds the announced “Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America,” but proposes a more ambitious vision of a new community by 2010 and specific recommendations on how to achieve it." She served on that task force!

Cruz is an establishment insider from the right arm of the corporate party. His being "conservative" means diddly. Just as corrupt bitch Clinton being "progressive" is bullshit.

There are 4500 members of the CFR, and not all are "One World Globalists." You have obviously never researched Heidi Cruz's actual status on the "task force," or her dissenting comments. I have found nothing nefarious in her participation, which was, as I said, pretty peripheral. She made recommendations for energy investments. That is what energy investment consultants do. Her comments leave no doubt that she disagreed with governmental control of the market.
Politics and banking are fairly well entwined, and advancement past a certain point is predicated on being a member of the right crowd, whether you agree with them or not.
Mrs. Cruz was a temporary member. Five years. I'l bet you like Reagan. Every member of his cabinet was CFR or Trilateral, although he wasn't.

Ted Cruz’s wife is a Goldman Sachs VP and CFR member
October 22, 2013

The establishment specializes in the old fashion bait-and-switch. It knows the people are sick and tired of government as usual and they want change.
Obama was billed as Mr. Hope and Change. But once installed in the White House, he immediately continued and expanded the Bush agenda, that is to say the agenda of the political establishment. Barry, like his predecessor, is little more than a frontispiece, a teleprompter reader for the elite.

Now that we’re fed up with Obama, it is time for the next round of phony change. That change will likely be represented by reformulated Tea Party Republicans Ted Cruz and Rand Paul.

“The Republican establishment despises Ted Cruz. And that’s great news for the senator from Texas: It’s the most prominent sign that he’s the front-runner for the GOP presidential nomination,” the National Journal opined last week.

The faux government shutdown with its intense partisan squabbling and meticulously orchestrated theatrics provided Cruz and the reformulated Tea Party Republicans with a stage to present themselves as the answer to politics as usual. According to the script, a staid GOP dominated by the likes of old guard John McCain and John Boehner is afraid of Cruz and the supposedly renegade faction of Tea Party activists in the House. But it’s all show business.

For all his allure as an outsider, Canada-born Ted Cruz is in fact an insider playing a role similar to the one Barack Obama played back in 2008 when his handlers portrayed him as the hope and change candidate out of nowhere.

Cruz’s insider connection is a family affair. His wife, Heidi, is a Goldman Sachs vice president in Houston, Texas, according to her LinkedIn profile. She also served as an economic advisor for the Bush administration. In 2011, a Cruz campaign spokesman portrayed Heidi as “an expert on North American trade,” in other words she is savvy when it comes to globalist transnational trade deals like NAFTA, the single most destructive government move against the American worker in history.

She was also a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations (see her bio at Claremont McKenna College), a position that expired prior to her husband’s attack on the globalist organization. In October, 2011, Ted Cruz reportedly characterized the CFR as “a pernicious nest of snakes” that is “working to undermine our sovereignty.” He previously called the CFR “a pit of vipers” during a speech delivered on October 13, 2011, to a Republican women’s group in Sugarland, Texas. Ben Smith, writing for Politico, attempted to associate Cruz with Texas residents Ron Paul and Alex Jones in order to pass him off as a rightwing conspiracy theorist on the same page as fringe libertarians and starry-eyed constitutionalists. He is, of course, nothing of the sort.

Like the domestication of the Tea Party and the expulsion of its more purist liberty-minded activists, the Cruz the warrior pitted against the establishment motif is another slick subversion directed at the political elite’s most puissant opposition – the real Tea Party and a threatening number of patriot activists gnawing at the edges of the political establishment.

Yep, very good article buffalo; our only chance is Trump, and he has zios in his camp also. At least the zios are putting their chips on Rubio for now. Another Manchurian move?
I still do not think Trump wants his kids to live under a NWO.

Hey, I'm just pointing out why Trump is so popular. The voters are fed up with the corruption that is rampant in DC. They are fed up with the corporate establishment's control of puppet politicians and the legislated benefits they receive from that control at the middle class' expense. Trump is savvy enough to understand this. He is not bought and paid for by that establishment and therefore they cannot control him and they are shitting in their pants because of his populist platform.

Full disclosure: I am a CRUZ supporter.

Unlike Trump, Hillary and Obama supporters, I will take time over the weekend to look into this. I've heard rumors of something like this before, but knowing Ted Cruz's history and character, I dismissed it.

The guy in the video didn't produce any hard empirical evidence. He also said that this claim about his wife Heidi's affiliation with the CFR is in stark contrast to his ideological stances on US sovereignty.

Naturally, most people are going to be skeptical about attacks on their guy. But, it would be hypocritical of me to ignore this accusation and just pass it off as partisan politics.

I challenge Trump and Hillary supporters to exact due diligence in vetting their candidate in turn.

While this accusation is concerning, it's not a bombshell. And, it's ONE thing. If this is the worst thing they can come up with, then I think Ted's going to be just fine.

Remember, if Trump's wife ends up being the First Lady, she'll be the first First Lady that we have nude photos of. What a classy couple these two make, don't ya think?
Knowing Trump, he'll have a nude painting of her up in the White House. I mean, he does like to brag and show off.

Trump and Hillary have a gaggle of scandals and inconsistencies (aka lies) to contend with that none of their supporters have acknowledged as being legit, so I'm not the least bit worried about this one obscure report on his wife that is questionable.
