I agree they have "stopped" the sexual abuse of children on the whole but still doubt it is over and many of these supposed priest have yet to face defrocking as they should have well before now..Sure some 870 something were, but the Church continues to stonewall the process of getting rid of these molesters, some living in the Vatican, some relocated etc.....

Those events happened long time ago. They have been punished and corrected. Long time ago, entering priesthood were not vetted. They had no idea because they never thought evil things could happen like that.

But there were homosexuals who entered priesthood. Nobody knew that until complaints came out. So, the Vatican took drastic actions to correct, punish, and eliminate those bad elements of the church.

Most of the priests sacrificed in service to God. So, don't punish them all. The churches have been cleaned up, and is not fully in service to the Lord.

You are making grievous sins for accusing the innocent priests who sacrificed for serving the Lord Jesus Christ. They will enter in heaven.

Perhaps you do evil most of the time, but that is your problem. If your journey on earth is full of evil and judgement you will receive the same later on.

Give us a break. The Catholic church is and has always been rotten to the bone. Read the history and episodes of all the popes. All behind the curtains controlling the politics of most countries. Stealing and storing the wealth of others in the Vatican and different places all over the world, while the poor that loves the church starve and go lacking in South America and other places. They stick thieves in South America with their hands out begging for tithes and offerings, while the upper ups, live in wealth all over. The poor give their alms up, while praying to Mary and other saints for help, while the Bible states, pray to no man. Mary is not divine. Bust those Mary and saints idols up. This will take you to hell Catholics. Get out of this false religion. Mexicans and others, stop praying to men and women. Jesus Christ is my savior and your savior. No Catholic father can forgive your sins. This job was done for you and I years ago, by Jesus Christ. Why do you think South America has not prospered. God can and will not bless you or your country, while you have the devils work, being carried out in your country, by the Catholic church. You are so devoted to God ,yet you have this abomination keeping you from God called the Catholic church. Think and read the Bible. Jer. 44:25 and Jer. 17:8 plainly state there is no queen in heaven. I should and you should only pray to God the Father in heaven only, in the name of the one who died for you and I, the only one that can help and bless you. That is the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Good Catholics are good Christians. They may have problems at the top but look at this government and we are all good Americans. Poor analogy maybe, but my hearts in the right place.

There are none righteous. Not one stinking person. Our righteousness comes from the blood of Christ. If one prays to God through any intermediary but Christ, they are not a Christian. They are praying to idols, and they are lost. Period. I'm not saying it's impossible for a Catholic to go to Heaven, but if they follow the idolatry of the Church, then they are going to Hell.

You can be the best person in the world and do great things, but look at the last page of the D. Rheims (your bible) and the Holy Bible. Catholics don't follow their teachings. It states anyone taking and adding to this book would be damned. Now stand back and look at what the pope and catholic church has done over the centuries. They have added to and took so much away and added to, it has simply become pathetic.

I made absolutely no reference to priests on the whole at all..Where did you get that??

I even told you I agreed with you but take exception to the many who will never face charges because the statute of limitations has expired and the Church continues to stall, manipulate, hide and move the accused to another church or like the one in the article I gave you, right into the Vatican..There were also two cases 2014 that surfaced..All there for you to read..

Please do not imply things not in my posts..If I felt ALL priests were the same you can bet I'd tell you..To the contrary I acknowledged what you said had validity but with exceptions too..

I don't think they are praying to anyone but God. Hail Mary and all of that is not what Protestants think. I know enough Catholics that I know they're praying to God, they're just asking Mary, the mother of Jesus to intercede for them. If you can't accept their faith then why should anyone accept yours?
The statues that you refer to as idols are just that...statues representing Mary, Jesus,etc.

They are praying to Mary, therefore they are not praying in Jesus name. There's a name for that. It's called idolatry. I've seen Catholics bowing and praying to a statue of Mary. That's Idolatry. Isn't it?
