Marines wouldn't denigrate their Transportation Division's musical talent, but it pales in comparison to the United States Marine Corps Band, also known as The Presidents Own.

Singing falsetto comes much more naturally for Swabbies than it does for the real military units of the USMC.

They did sing well, though! And, in those uniforms, they could sell ice cream and snacks during the intermission.

I wonder if they could sing bass if their skivvies weren't so tight.

I wondered why they were wearing whites instead of blues.

I wonder if the subject has ever been broached. Probably not. They probably think only their Chiefs are allowed deep baritone voices.

I have a retired chief living not far away. He is possessed of an extremely high voice.

I guess they never learned about loose fitting skivvies. And, how comfortable they are.

I learned that in the Army but about 20 years after I got out changed back to tight whites. I did that because I was working every day , morning and afternoon, with two track and field athletes of the female persuasion and I found that with the shorter shorts we wore back then those loose fitters had a tendency to hang out below my shorts. I must have liked the eighties since I am still wearing them.

Yeah, well, when we had problems with it all hanging out we switched to using cups to hold most of it in.  :XD:

Sailors try not to interrupt the games our little guys play, as they get surly when not in combat. If they get plumb out of hand, a small fire destroys their shot records and we MUST have a record of all vaccinations, so..............
