I did not move to the country until I was 53. I got a crash course in country living!! I guess what I'm trying to say is that in my opinion daughters should be taught that if it's something they really desire to do, then they should go for it, ignore the naysayers. I don't know if the picture of my 3-year-old granddaughter will show up or not as an attachment. My son took the picture at a friend's farm. If, for some reason the picture doesn't come through, it is of Emma on a friend's tractor. She was obviously loving life! Emma is being encouraged by HER FATHER to believe in herself, that the sky is the limit. She is fearless. My 5-year-old granddaughter, along with her older brother, is involved in mixed martial arts. Not all young girls or young women have a desire to do things considered out of the box by others, but they, in my opinion, need to be given a chance to make that decision themselves.
