If you enjoyed paying $1.59 a gallon for gas this past weekend, understand a few things. To the extent domestic production affects this, the oil industry is mostly gettings its resources on private lands. Thats because Obama, while hes happy to take credit for the increased productivity and lower prices, is fighting new leases on federal lands wherever he can. Thats how he can reassure his left-wing base hes an enemy of the oil industry while also taking credit for the low prices.
But there is some oil being extracted on federal lands, and if that stopped all at once, it would definitely have a significant and negative impact on prices. And according to Hillary Clinton, that exactly what she would do if she became president:

Have you noticed that Hillarys answers to questions are becoming even more saturated with B.S. than weve come to expect from her historically? Its sort of like when she was asked if she would release the transcripts of her speeches to Wall Street financial firms, which shes obviously not going to do, but she doesnt want to just flat-out say no - so instead she said, Ill look into it. I dont know the status.
What the hell is that supposed to mean? I dont know the status? What? You cant even argue with that statement because it means nothing. Its just something she pulled out of her # to say. And its the same thing with her response to this guy whos asking about the moratorium. There are legal issues we have to work through. What legal issues? That doesnt even make any sense. Even Obama isnt so bogged down with legal issues that hes found it necessary to impose a complete moratorium. He just stands in the way wherever he can out of ideological vanity.
If she actually means this, shes talking about setting back the progress of domestic energy production in a pretty serious way - and all because of some nebulous legal issues?
Now, my guess is that there are no legal issues here that couldnt be solved by the oil developers writing a nice fat check to the Clinton Foundation, or to the Hillary campaign. Or, even better . . . nothing she said to this guy meant anything, and she just figured shed tell the guy what he wanted to hear and spew some nonsense about legal issues as a way of making it sound like she was actually giving him a serious response.
But arent you getting a little tired of a person running for president - and being taken seriously doing so - whose words are not taken seriously because everyone knows from the second they come out of her mouth that theyre complete Bolshevik?

I'm not TIRED of Hillary Clinton... I'm SCARED of Hillary Clinton... And ANY DemLib-Socialist President... We ALL should be...
If They Want Her Records, Issue A 'John Doe' Warrant And Seize Everything She Has At 3:00am
That's What They Do To The 'Little People' With Our Homes And Businesses
AND These Warrants Include A GAG ORDER, So The Victims Can't Talk To The Press Or Anyone Else About ANY Of It
