I had hoped this discussion thread wouldn't go down the preaching & name calling route that it did. This forum is supposed to be about intelligent discussion and discourse which was the main reason I joined the page to begin with. Unfortunately, 1 person's definition of intelligence versus another's varies greatly.

If you are trying redirect this thread back onto a course of intelligent discussion, I'm all for it. However, I fail to see the relevance of where economics (your reference to F.A.Hayek and M. Friedman) fits in with regard to the original subject.
