Most certainly you voted for Obama, now, hows the hope and change working for you? are you enjoying everything your POTUS is doing for this Nation?

Undoubtably your voting for Obamas third term using Hillary to reaffirm Obamas agenda. That's your cross to carry, that is, if you have to admit you were wrong.

Peter S.- Don't count on Mexico laughing at Trump. We can put a serious hurting on Mexico if we have the leadership to do so. Why should we continue to endure trade imbalances with every trading partner ? Leveling the playing field alone, with Mexico, will pay for the wall with money left over. Like Trump said, " we have political hacks negotiating on our behalf and they do not know what they are doing." Proof, is the latest debacle, the so called Iran deal where we get absolutely nothing and pay them for releasing our people who were hostages. Every time that happens , the price goes up the next time around. Are you not fed up with politicians attempting to fix the mess created by politicians? Trump will work with politicians but will go to the people if too much resistance is met with his attempt to do the work they want done. As Jerry Falwell Jr. said, "Trump is a breath of fresh air." Good Luck America !!!

I was thinking if we brought all the manufacturing jobs back to the U.S.(another thing Trump would do), maybe the quality of products would go up too!! Using that stuff from China is settling for mediocrity...

Roy is buried in a liberal rut which makes him interesting but also gullible and boring. I hope he understands the only difference between a rut and a grave is the dimensions. I have to admit whatever Libs lack in brains they sure are determined cover their face with egg.

maryla-exactly. Look at what Sanders and Clinton are proposing. Both want higher taxes on the wealthy but do not explain that the wealthy are the ones who are mobile and can leave if they choose to. Where would it leave this country if even one fourth of the wealthiest among us decided to physically relocate not only their businesses but their residences as well? We desperately need middle class jobs that pay enough for a man to feed his family. Everyone, except Bernie and Hillary knows that higher taxes kill jobs. All we have to do is ask ourselves, do we need Trump or does he need us ? The man is willing to work for us at no salary and surely does not need the job of the presidency. The fact that he is willing to set aside a lavish lifestyle and roll up his sleeves and get back in the trenches should mean something to anyone who is able to think clearly. This country cannot afford Bernie or Hillary. We could do well with several of the republican candidates but Trump stands out because he has been extremely successful and if anyone can bring jobs back home it is he. Good Luck America !!!

That was really well said also, so very true.
We have been dragged down to almost third world status by people who have their own agenda which isn't good for us.

I fear that he is too strong and untouchable which means he is also a moving target for all the people who like the status quo.
All I would tell him is "Watch your back!" and rest assured that all the thinking people in the US who deeply care about our country are in your corner. Go Donald!!

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for lunch and the bill for all ten comes to $100.

If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:
•The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
•The fifth would pay $1.
•The sixth would pay $3.
•The seventh would pay $7.
•The eighth would pay $12.
•The ninth would pay $18.
•The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.

So, that's what they decided to do.

The ten men ate lunch in the restaurant every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve ball.

"Since you are all such good customers," he said, "I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily lunch by $20.00." So lunch for the ten men would now cost just $80.

The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes. So the first four men were unaffected. They would still eat for free. But what about the other six men? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his fair share?

They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to eat his lunch.

So the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by a higher percentage the poorer he was, to follow the principle of the tax system they had been using, and he proceeded to work out the amounts he suggested that each should now pay.
•And so the fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% off).
•The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33% off).
•The seventh now paid $5 instead of $7 (28% off).
•The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% off).
•The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 (22% off).
•The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% off).

Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to eat lunch for free. But, once outside the bar, the men began to compare the amount they got off.

The sixth man said, "I only got $1 off out of the $20 while the tenth man got $10 off!"

"Yeah, that's right," exclaimed the fifth man. "I only got $1 off, too. It's unfair that he got ten times more benefit than me!"

"That's true!" shouted the seventh man. "Why should he get $10 off, when I got only $2? The wealthy get all the breaks!"

"Wait a minute," yelled the first four men in unison, "we didn't get anything at all. This new tax system exploits the poor!"

The nine men surrounded the tenth and told him they they were angry that he got so much off while they each got very little.

The next day the tenth man didn't show up for lunch, so the nine sat down and had their lunchs without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn't have enough money amongst all of them for even half of the bill!

And that is how our tax system works. The people who already pay the highest taxes will naturally get the largest benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they might start eating overseas, where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.

For those who understand, no explanation is needed.

For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible.

patriotichead-some of our own citizens, who poured their sweat and blood into building this country, are being left behind because there is not enough money to take care of them. However, it seems we can accept and take care of millions of illegals who have contributed nothing to the country. It is a matter of priorities. A country with a 19 trillion dollar debt cannot continue to play Santa Claus. The fact that many illegals come from countries led by corrupt governments who starve them out is hardly the fault of the American citizen. Charity begins at home. Private citizens can donate as much of their earnings and savings as they like to illegals. So if one feels strongly about helping them feel free to do so. Good Luck America !!!

Ricko, He is probably the only one that can counter the deliberate actions of the POTUS and save us. I wonder if there is any level of activity in any sector of the economy that hasn't been slashed by his administration in his efforts to reduce us to a third-world economy?
Thank George Soros for being the power behind him. Soros stated several years ago (before Obama was elected the first time) he would bring us down. Glen Beck exposed his activities
but nothing was ever done to curb him - any guesses? With him being a billionaire, he can buy off a lot of people, congress included.

Yes, I agree. I'm looking at a trump / Cruz ticket. Have Trump POTUS an Cruz leading the DOJ or vice seat. We need the change, hopefully, it'll be for the better end of straightening this mess out.

One thing, it's not going to change or should I say, see a change immediately. It will take time and many political seats changed.

Here is the problem with that thinking.I'm a registered Democrat, I now am changing my affiliation. Reason is quit evident. But what your saying is no matter how bad the party and it's policies you support it, you support the leadership. This is like voting a straight ticket no matter how the leadership takes the country, it's just so your party stays in power to complete ruination. I don't get it! explain it to me, if it sounds reasonable, I might stay as a Dem. But I doubt your going to be convincing enough since the proof, right now, is in the Democratic pudding.

You're definitely confused. Maybe you need to go back and re-read the thread. I wasn't saying or implying anything even close to what you think I did.
