What did I say wrong now Blade? Is god a spirit or isn't he. If he is a spirit than there is nothing that can die? What can live or die is humanities belief in a god and there I do think god is on the loosing end. In a hundred years I think a minority will believe and in a hundred years after that god will only be discussed academically as part of the study of mythology. So, if no one believes in you does your existence as a spirit matter?

And Merry Christmas too you Blade and I hope you and yours truly enjoy this most pagan of pagan holidays. Ironic that god chose this date for his sons birthday--though it is a good way to get pagans to worship you--I guess...

Man can design experiments to demonstrate that the wind and gravity are real. Since there is no rational experiment man can design to show gods presence real--how does god make his presence felt???

If Jesus was God, then God is dead. Earth is called the "land of the living" and God will come to earth in the latter days. Shortly after his execution, God will return to the earth on the mount of Olives along with the entire heavenly host and will live on earth forever. Zechariah 14:4-5. Jesus went to Heaven when he died, but Heaven and Hell are the realm of the dead. The God of Israel lives!

Essentially you are correct in admitting that your belief in God is dead, however your projection that most of humanity will follow suit is simply conjecture--wishful thinking, a pipe dream. Above all, what you believe or don't believe has no bearing on the Life of God. The only one affected by belief or disbelief is you.

And, for a number of reasons, December 25th is only the traditional birthday of Jesus, it is not the actual calendar day. The Gregorian calendar (established by Pope Gregory XIII in 1582) did not exist at the time of Christ. That would have been the ancient Hebrew calendar; it does not coincide with the Gregorian.

While I have no intention of getting into a religious discussion here, (but I've been sucked in before), let me just say that the "God is dead, or never existed folk, are going to get more and more vocal as time goes on. The elite have stated that they intend to destroy Christianity first, then all religions. The Pope has even commented that he may well be assassinated. (For the record, I am not Catholic, and in fact quite anti Catholic, but not anti Christian) People who think that science has proven there is no God have no idea how much they have been played like a fiddle, and are at the beck and call of the elite. They have no idea how much they have been lied to. (Now that being said, it is true there is no God in the more traditional view of him/her, but that is not the whole story.) Many of these people are getting more and more aggressive in their attempts to destroy religion, and they will do a lot of damage. In the process they will damage themselves seriously too.

Now, regardless of whether there is any kind of God or not, if this country breaks away from its Judeao Christian values, the country is lost. We are already falling as a first rate nation. This is the way it works, whether anyone likes it or agrees with it or not. The U.S. as a nation is lost, and we are losing it more and more daily. It is unfortunate, but it is true, and any nation that breaks away from those values will destroy itself from within. Enemies from without are just a symptom, they are not the source. Without Judeao Christian values, democracy cannot exist. It is impossible. This comment will do one of two things. Either people will jump on it and go crazy with argument and hostile attacks, or they will consider it meaningless and disregard it. Either way, it doesn't matter. These are the facts, regardless. And the attacks on those values will come back to haunt us all, one way or another. Even if Christianity had no truth in it, it is better than anything anyone else can come up with.

From where did you get that God took Adam, Eve, and Noah to heaven? No where in all of scripture does it say that. Yes, according to scripture, God took Enoch and Elijah and, as Moses showed up on the Mount of Transfiguration with Elijah and Christ, Moses must have been taken to heaven sometime after his death on the Mount outside of Palestine (Israel).

Concerning whether God is dead or not: As it was God through Christ Who created the universe and everything in it, and as He upholds the universe by the word of His power (Hebrews 1:3); if God ever died, then we would no longer exist as there would be nothing to continue upholding the universe. "The fool has said in his heart that there is no God." Psalm 14:1
