Robert Barnes, 51, was a white homeless veteran living on the streets of Olney, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. In January, his sister Diane visited him and bought him new boots to keep his feet warm in the cold winter. That was the last time she had a conversation with her brother.
On April 7, Barnes was at a Sunoco gas station when a van pulled into the station. Three black women and three black teens jumped out of the van and attacked Barnes. They sprayed him with mace then proceeded to beat him, a hammer and the leg of a rocking chair, their fists and then kicked him. The six blacks jumped back into the van and fled the scene and it was all caught on the gas station video surveillance system.
The attack left Barnes in a coma with multiple skull fractures and other broken bones. His sister said that there was time when her brother opened his eyes, but he was totally unresponsive to anyone or anything and existed in a vegetative state.

On Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, Robert Barnes lost his battle and died from his injuries.
After the attack in April, the police arrested the six blacks responsible for the vicious attack. They were:
Aleathea Gillard, 34, Shareena Joachim, 23, and Kaisha Duggins, 24, have been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, conspiracy, and other crimes in the attack.
Three juveniles - two are Gillard's children and the third a friend - also were charged. They pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and conspiracy charges in June, and were sentenced the following month to juvenile treatment facilities.
Prosecutors have said that if Barnes died, all six would face murder charges.
In September, all three women rejected a deal from the District Attorney's Office for a guilty plea in exchange for prison terms of seven to 14 years. They have been unable to post bail and still are in custody.
Therefore it is safe to say that the charges against the six blacks are being upgraded to murder and hopefully it will be first degree murder because they intentionally went after Barnes to harm him.
According to Philly.com:
On the day of the beating, Barnes and one of Gillard's children were at the Sunoco offering to pump gas for spare change, police said.
Later that day, the child went home and falsely told Gillard that Barnes had hit him.
What I want to know is why isnt Al Sharpton protesting the beating death of a defenseless man? His website claims:
National Action Network is one of the leading civil rights organizations in the Nation with chapters throughout the entire United States. Founded in 1991 by Reverend Al Sharpton, NAN works within the spirit and tradition of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to promote a modern civil rights agenda that includes the fight for one standard of justice, decency and equal opportunities for all people regardless of race, religion, nationality or gender. [Emphasis mine]
Regardless of race, Ive never seen or heard of Sharpton protesting the death of a white person at the hands of a black. Hes quick to protest when a black is killed by a white person even when the black was physically assaulting the white, but never when the ethnicity of those involved are reversed. If he really meant what he says on his website, he would have been protesting in Olney after the April attack on Robert Barnes. He should be fighting to change the attitude of the black community instead of continually pouring gasoline on the fires of racial hatred.
Sharptons absence and silence concerning the death of Robert Barnes speaks volumes about his racial hypocrisy. This is why I believe that Al Sharpton is the nations top racist who is making a very nice 6 figure salary keeping racial hatred alive and well in America today.
