Actions speak so much louder than words. DHS is in lockstep with this administration. So you post a CNN article as a rebuttal. You do know that CNN is one of the most supporting news outlets for any and everything progressive in the US. You accept at face value that this article speaks the truth. You accept that DHS speaks factually. This is the same group that has moved rapidly to insure illegal immigrates obtain green cards when illegally crossing our border (do not believe that you can refute this), have vilified returning veterans as a terror threat, & have dismissed illegals crossing our border as not a threat. Statistics are what they are. Why not find some facts that show that there is no reason for US citizens to fear gun violence?
Maybe you could find multiple articles that dispute that careless parents are responsible for small children having access to guns.
Maybe you could find articles that dispute random accidental shootings in churches by fools who don't know what a safety is.
Maybe you could post stories about advocates for open carry peacefully providing milk and cookies for Muslims going to services.
That might allay fears about gun violence, I would gladly share those stories with friends on FB.
