Solution to Security Problems Posed by Obama Importing Middle Easterners

The solution to the safety and security problems presented by Obama’s importation of thousands of potential terrorists from the Middle East is simple….. Really.

1. Man about fifty polygraphs at the airport the refugees are to arrive at. With this staffing, it would probably take no more than an hour or so to process a plane full of these people. Then after asking each “refugee” questions to calibrate the lie detectors such as “Is your name so and so?”, “Are you a citizen of such and such a country?” The following two direct questions are asked:

a. “Are you a jihadi terrorist?” If subject passes with a No answer, go on to question (b). But if the subject answers Yes (doubtful) or fails with a No answer he/she is handcuffed and led off to incarceration to await a military tribunal (or maybe execution?).

b. If question (a) is passed, the second and final question is: “Then do you sympathize with and/or support the jihadi movement/terrorists?” If answered Yes or with a failed No answer, the subject is immediately subject to armed detention and is shipped back on the next plane to wherever they came from with no possibility of legally reentering the US (or perhaps a military tribunal, or maybe even execution?).

But if the subject passes both of the above two questions, then they are told “Welcome to America! You may remain here for six months unless you assimilate into our culture, learn our language, take vocational training courses, get a job etc. etc. But you will not have an opportunity for citizenship until you reach the front of the line behind all other legal applicants, no EBT cards, no Medicaid, no other government handouts except for temporary housing (no TV or WiFi and only three square meals a day) in the detention camps that Homeland Security has built to house the rest of us dangerous “clingers on.” But if this arrangement is not satisfactory to you Mr. or Ms. Moslem, the plane you came in on is still on the runway ready to take you back where you came from.”

What do ya think?

Good idea on its face...... with the exception of the fact that polygraphs are unreliable.

They need a safe zone established in their own country.

I like it, but I am sure there is a way to fool those polygraph machines.

I like it! But I would modify the questions a bit! (Are you a Muslim? Do you follow the instructions in the Koran? Do you need help getting BACK on the plane?.

There is! In that liberals are mentally diseased, they believe their own lies. Therefore they don't think anything they say is a lie! No bodily reactions! Pathological liars pass polygraphs all the time! And of course that is another definition of a liberal...pathological liar!

You are thinking too hard. Very few young men, if any, apply as refugees. Most are women, children, and elders. The current vetting takes two years and the FBI has their hands over all of it.

What you should be demanding is a check on visa waivers. And the setup of resettlement camps in Southwest Asia. That would save the cost of transportation and vetting.

I like that idea better! They might have room for the Palastinians too?

People can be taught how to cheat a polygraph.

Dear friends: Although we have differing thoughts about this plan, it, or a similar one, would be much better than the pitiful “safeguards” that are in place now and implementation would be nearly immediate and at minimal cost. The results, though not perfect, would, I posit, weed out many would-be terrorists and potentially save American lives.

Marvin, you might be right about the women and children issue, however, my understanding of these “refugees” is that many more than would normally be expected in this cross section of people are, in fact, young, single men of fighting age.

Oh, to the goofballs shown sitting around the Fiatlux dinner table, take a close look in the mirror and you will find that you, yourselves, are prime examples of the lame comments you made to my post: “silly and pathetic.” And, if I might add, “asinine” to boot. But thank you for your interest.

Just remember one of the terrorists in the Paris attack was a woman who became a suicide bomber.

If someone wanted to come here with malicious intent, the worst choice he could make would be to apply for refugee status. It would take years and would probably fail with a possible long-term jail sentence.

He would most likely be a European who became radicalized, went to Syria, and came back to Europe. In that case, he would simply come here as a tourist and overstay his visa. No sweating, no vetting.

This trumped-up, anti-refugee hysteria is pure, shameful ignorance. The shame is on you!
