US Administrations have started wars in the Middle East, then left!!!!!!!!

So who comes to fill the vacuum????? ISIS

You'll notice Obumer cannot even call them ISIS, but ISIL - what! a softer sound????

Let's connect the dots - Obumer has been the puppet used to absolutely destabilize the Middle East, and cause this migration into Europe to have destabilization there. He wants to bring the Syrians here to destabilize the US, and then he will declare no elections he HAS TO TAKE OVER.

Now we have to take a stand against resettlement of these people. Get to your representatives NOW. So far 17 states say NO SYRIAN REFUGEES THERE.

Congress CAN DEFUND ANY IMMIGRATION POLICY, let them know you are aware of that.

Just a tidbit of information -

fewer than 400 multi-billionaires own 97% of the world's wealth.

What more could they want??? They now want power, power over every facet of your life.

Prayer for 11/20/15

This is more like a journey into the past than a prayer. I visit this site where I first started my prayers, and it's like going back to an old school building. The halls echo your hollow footsteps. You open a door and see the empty desks sitting there. You recall many friends gathering around, we laughed, made jokes, went through tests - we did this together, now I sit here alone.

Is that rain upon the window pane, or are those tears for those who have passed away, or moved on to other things? A melancholy sense descends upon me. A melancholy sense of times past, not the right now time, but the what was. We felt young and playful, full of exuberance. The days drifted by into weeks, and now it's approaching two years. How time flies, how fast it changes.

Time to leave this room of memories and go back down the hall. The rows of lockers stand empty, an open door here and there. They now lay bare, maybe a pencil stub or piece of paper left, and empty memories. Are they empty memories, or are they the little light that brings a smile to your face. Yes, I prefer the smile. I walk with those happy memories and the idea of hope for America.

Walking out the door I entered so often, makes me feel like I'm abandoning an old friend. I turn to look the building over, it still looks pretty good, except for a couple of broken windows, the weeds are growing up around it, and ivy is beginning to eat into the tuck pointing around the bricks. I pray the Lord holds it together yet, that the exceptionalism of its past will once again rise like a Phoenix from the ashes. Keep our country a Christian Nation, O Lord, I pray. Amen

prayer for November 20 The voice we seek

Having spent another sleepless night, I awakened at 2AM and decided to go sit on the front porch. It was in the 30's so I put on a coat and grabbed a blanket, and sat on the porch swing listening to the night. The wind was powerful so the trees were moving a lot. Hearing them creak and scream they sounded almost human, screaming out in pain. It was easy to understand why pagans worshiped the gods of nature, spirits of the trees and the wind. The Muslims revered the moon god, which is why they have crescent moons on their mosques. I heard a few coyotes, not as many as last year, but their haunting howls as they called to each other had the menacing sound of evil. Several species of owls were calling, screech and northern owls mostly, sounding wise and all knowing, easy to make them a special harbinger of good. While it is easy to hear the sounds that the pagans believed were from their lesser gods, one voice seemed to be missing. The turmoil of the time as blocked out the quietly comforting voice of God. How can we talk to God through the chaos and screams of the world in torment? I seek out His guidance, and hear only the explosions of bombs, the screams of the wounded, and the slash of the scimitar. There is no sanity out there. Who and what can we trust? Where are God's people, how can we talk to them, what do we have to do to connect with Him in a world gone insane? Is it time for us to stand up and fight like Christian soldiers, rather than sit and patiently succumb to the enemy of God and his people? I look up to the heavens but see only blackness, clouds of anger and fear. Are we alone or is God just waiting for us to ask for his help and strength?. How much worse is it going to have to get before good people band together, not just in prayer but also to let our voices be known. We must be heard, God commands us to speak. I am listing for his guidance--are you?

Almighty God, giver of all that is good, hear our prayers. The dark forces have over run the world before, murdered all true believers, raped, pillaged and destroyed all they they can do so as to destroy the hope and honor of all who refuse to follow the god of darkness. Those who worship the god of destruction are easily led into violence by their god who promises great carnal rewards for destroying those who believe in the Loving God who created the universe and promised people who believe in him and practice true love toward one another life everlasting. We need Thee more than ever, and acknowledge the inadequacies of our strength and the weakness of our beliefs. Let us hear Your Voice, oh Lord, and feel the guidance of your strength. We open our hearts, and tearfully ask for forgiveness because we are sinners, and weak against powerful foes. Oh Heavenly Father, we need You now and forever, hear our prayers and give us the strength we need for the fight that is ahead. This we ask in Jesus name. AMEN AMEN AMEN

This is the time to not abandon America, but to increase our prayer life, to praise our God, to stand firm.

In Mark 9:20-29 Jesus heals a young boy, asking his father if he believes. The father's response, "Help my unbelief." Do we need help with our unbelief for a Christian future in America?

Jesus goes on to tell His disciples they were unable to heal him because driving out demons takes PRAYER AND FASTING. Are we willing to maintain a vigil of prayer and fasting for our Nation?

O Lord, I pray You will save our country from the evils that are being called NORMAL, OR ACCEPTABLE ALTERNATE LIFE STYLES. We pray, O Lord, return to us, save our Nation.

Crosswalk the Devotional

What Are You Thankful For?
by Ryan Duncan, Crosswalk.com Entertainment Editor

“I will praise the name of God with a song; I will magnify him with thanksgiving.” – Psalms 69:30

A while back, there was an episode of The Simpsons in which the family is celebrating Thanksgiving. When the time came to say grace, Bart Simpson bowed his head and said,

“Dear God, we paid for all this stuff ourselves, so thanks for nothing.”

The first time I saw this clip on TV I remember feeling a mix of emotions. On one hand, I was angry that such cynicism was being shown toward God and a day celebrating thankfulness. On the other hand, I couldn’t help but relate to Bart a little. I was at a time in my life when everything seemed out of control. I had no money, my life felt like it was stuck in neutral, and my future was looking pretty bleak. Why should I be thanking God for anything?

If you’ve ever been in my situation, I want to point you toward a passage of scripture that helped me put things in perspective,

“On the way to Jerusalem he was passing along between Samaria and Galilee. And as he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance and lifted up their voices, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us." When he saw them he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." And as they went they were cleansed. Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice; and he fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan. Then Jesus answered, "Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine? Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?" And he said to him, "Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well.’” – Luke 17:11-19

It’s easy to spend our lives worrying and obsessing over the problems of life. It’s also easy to overlook a blessing in times of need, or forget to be thankful when troubled times have been put to rest. Be sure you don’t become one of the nine lepers, who were so happy to be cured that they forgot who cured them. This Thanksgiving, I encourage you to spend time remembering what God has done in your life.

Intersecting Faith and Life: Whatever your situation may be, count your blessings and take a moment to thank God for them.

Prayer for 11/24/15

How Great Thou Art, words to a much loved hymn, words we should utter each morning as we awaken, in a land where we have peace. Most of us have a place to sleep, enough to eat, and a winter coat or two. Do we start our day thanking the Lord for these gifts? All that we have, He has so generously supplied, it is His. Do we care for it, like the two good servants, in the Bible story from Matthew 25:14-30? His daily blessings are more than we even imagine. Praise the Lord, from whom all blessings flow.

Yes, Lord, each morning You Raise Me Up. You have blessed me with more than I can begin to enumerate, more than I need, how do I thank You, how do I show my gratitude? There is nothing You need that I can supply, so what can I give to You? Humbly, I bring You my heart, my soul, my words of praise and blessings. I invite You to join me as I drink my coffee, to be with me as I gaze up at Your remarkable heaven. All that You provide for me, the beauty of nature that surrounds me, Your generous love and care, I thank You.

Each day, I awake to Your Amazing Grace. Do I share that grace, and the story of Your love and sacrifice for me? How best can I do that, how do I give back to You? I have only my words of praise for You, for all Your blessings. It seems like I am walking in a world I no longer recognize, a world where some want to exclude You. Bless me with the strength to always stand tall for You and for Your Word, Lord. Walk with each of us this day, I pray in the name of Jesus, giving You all honor, glory, and praise. Amen
