Feds to WA State: Take 'em Down on I-5 Northbound

WA State to Feds: Secession Before Genuflection!

For over 30 years a private citizen has been paying to have huge patriotic signs with slogans on them along I-5 in Washington state. One written on one side and the other written on the other side and both signs said different things so you saw them both coming and going.
Whoever made them up has done a great job; but now, evidently, he has added the artwork. You will notice some signs are in his right hand, and the others are in his left hand so this would account for the signs being written on both sides as one side his head is tilted to the right and the other his head is tilted to the left. Very clever, one head painted on both sides.
God bless the State of Washington and this patriot for standing up to the Fed’s on this one.
NORTHBOUND ON I-5 (88 miles south of Seattle Washington)
You want to see something better than Burma Shave signs?
The federal government is now petitioning to have these signs removed, or.... Washington state will be denied additional monies for interstate highways.
The State of Washington replied: they will secede from the Union rather
than be intimidated. These are a matter of free speech paid for by a private citizen. It seems the Obama government uses intimidation and ignores the first amendment when they want to silence someone.
These signs are priceless.
Bravo for the man who created them.
Bravo for the state of Washington!

As long as they follow the rules for posting the signs.

Permits, set backs etc.

But be ready for a lot more junk being put up.

I read JUNK on billboards everyday on my 51 mile trip to work, this would be a pleasant change.

I say again that if they comply with all of the rules put them up.

Some how before we get a gaga abut this we need to know if the rules have been followed.
