A good testing idea: If Hamas et al dropped their weapons what would happen - nothing as Israel is not the aggressor; however, should Israel ever drop its weapons Hamas/Iran and other nations controlled by Muslims would make it disappear.
Christianity also reformed the Bible showing a "peaceful" focus in the new testament! Now where is the Martin Luther like reformer of Islam? Please show me the same reformation of the Koran and Islam?
