Don't Short Change "The Donald"...

"The Donald" did not get to were he is because he's ready to roll over at the firsts 'hiccup'... He is a smart businessman and he may just being setting up Carly for a slam-dunk!!! Carly has more 'skeletons-in-her-closet' than Trump, he is the most transparent candidate the GOP has seen in years... No, I wouldn't count him out yet, will he be a good president??? If the anti banker and moneyed men are correct and our Republic end after the civil war and we became a Corporation, then what better man to lead us out of the mess the Communist / Muslim has put us in??? "The Donald" will be perfect... Another observation about Trump the businessman, his "MO" has been to surround himself with smart knowledgeable people and he is smart enough to follow good direction (unlike "The Obummer") from these folks... If he is smart he might follow "O" examples and appoint most of his advisers via E.O., no Dem can dare bitch... And I would hope the person he picks for his V.P. will be an active member of his administration, so in 8 years he/she can step right into the Office, not unlike Bush the First...Don D.

NEWS FROM THE HILL

Media Thumps Trump, But Polls Show He's Winning Big

By Niall Stanage -- Sept 27, 2015

Rumors of Donald Trump’s demise may have been greatly exaggerated.

Ever since rival Carly Fiorina was widely perceived to have bested Trump at the second GOP debate in California on Sept. 16, media outlets have been lining up to suggest that the front-runner is waning.

Trump has hit back with characteristic vigor. But he has a point, independent observers say.

“The reality is that he does have a hold on some people and he doesn’t appear to be surrendering it,” said Mark Mellman, a veteran Democratic pollster who is also a columnist for The Hill.

Much of the negative media attention has been built around a single poll in the immediate aftermath of the debate, by CNN/ORC.

The survey showed the businessman’s support among Republican voters nationwide had declined by 8 percentage points since the last survey from the same source, less than two weeks before.

That was a sizable decline, to be sure — even though Trump still led his closest rival by 9 percentage points. But no other reputable poll since the debate has shown Trump falling by anything like that margin.

A survey from Fox News released earlier this week showed the businessman at 26 percent support nationally, an increase of 1 point since Fox’s last survey in mid-August. A Bloomberg poll gave him 21 percent — good enough for a 5-point lead over the field and an unchanged rating since the last poll from the financial news outlet at the beginning of August.

The picture is not substantially different in the crucial early states — and, in some cases, it is even better for Trump.

The Democratic-leaning firm Public Policy Polling (PPP) released a new survey from Iowa this week in which Trump polled at 24 percent — a 5-point rise over his showing in PPP’s previous poll of the Hawkeye State in the immediate aftermath of the first GOP debate on Aug. 6.

Trump’s support could collapse eventually — as is the case with any other candidate — but there is precious little evidence that his supporters are deserting him.

“The national polling that has come out this week has been mixed,” said PPP director Tom Jensen. “But it’s not something where I would buy into a narrative of Trump declining, unless that was the narrative I wanted. I think, in some quarters, the media people are getting bored [with Trump’s strength] and are ready to write a different story.”

The candidate shares that view quite emphatically. In TV interviews and on his Twitter account throughout this week, he has inveighed against media coverage that he believes is unfair in general and, in particular, is highlighting the most negative polls for him and ignoring the rest.

THE PEOPLE WHO LIKE TRUMP LIKE HIM FOR WHAT HE IS, THE POLLING NUMBERS ARE AND HAVE BEEN PRETTY STEADY THE PEOPLE WHO THINK HE SUCKS ALSO THINK SO BECAUSE OF WHAT HE IS AND THEIR IS NOT MUCH SPACE FOR CHANGE. AS IT IS HE HAS A DECENT SHOT AT THE REPUBLICAN NOMINATION UNLESS THE REST OF THE BUNCH GETS BEHIND ONE CANDIDATE. IT IS MATHAMATICLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR HIM TO GET ENOUGH SUPPORT TO WIN A GENERAL ELECTION UNLESS HE SERIOUSLY FLIP FLOPS TO GAIN SUPPORT AT THE CENTER WHICH OF COURSE WOULD INFLAME HIS NUTTER SYCOPHANTS. TRUMP IS A GIFT TO THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY, GO DON GO!

Trump would do well to quit attacking other Republicans, especially Fiorina and Carson. It is losing him some support from other Conservatives. Bush is another matter, he should really 'cool' him, after all, he is just another Rinocrat.

Man, we better wake up. If we pull off a GOP win, we real Americans better realize we have to be united to accomplish that.
The GOP lost the last 2 elections not because of the lack of the Latino vote, but their voting base didn't show up to vote. This base has now joined Trump. This will give the GOP the edge it takes to win. Can't win by ignoring the voice of your base.
We have to quit looking for the perfect person & unite to save our nation from a communist take over..

Good day.

i dont like being misrepresented by or lied to by elected officials. i helped vote sen cassidy in because, during his campaign, he emphasized the fact that he was against amnesty, but he had a final vote in the house and he voted to fund amnesty. then his first vote in the senate was to fund amnesty.HE WILL NOT GET MY VOTE AGAIN. just what good does it do to vote demorat lite? his votes prove you can never trust a democrat or a demorat lite!
