Welcoming any advice. . .

Congrats Sing! As for advice, just spoil her every chance you get. Then, return her to her parents; with a smile on your face!

Momentous news. I will be selling the farm and getting a condo closer to the kids!
My longtime handyman had slowly developed a problem with drinking and subsequently last month lost his drivers license, thus he is unable to do his job now. He is serving time in county lockup. Dreadful. Since my youngest is away at college I am now alone here. Winter is long and cold and lonely way out here without easy transportation. I drive a little but can't go long distances.
So I am electing to retire from farming and lounge around in indolent splendor, enjoying the fitness center and sauna for my poor achey bones and conversing with fellow condo dwellers over lattes at the community center coffee shop!
And driving ten minutes to see that grand baby, babysitting, shopping for baby stuff, and making baby photo albums....

Have someone put that child up for adoption....get it as far away from you as humanly possible!

She has already stole your heart. Now you will catch heck for spoiling her, but it will be worth it when she says, "I love you clear up to sky, gramma."
