Sex is a normal function in all species of animals. It is people, desiring to have control over others, who put taboos on that function. For the purposes of procreation it is natural that opposite genders would be attracted to each other. BUT participating in sex is also FUN! If it were to be used only for procreation, why would it also be enjoyable? Enjoyment adds nothing to the process of procreation. Do you think a woman enjoys rape? Yet she can be impregnated.

Participating in the sex act (fornication or just plain "fooling around") is, or should be, a form of affection and of pleasing the other partner. Most of the time the participants indulge primarily for the "fun" part in hopes that this will not result in "giving a new life." If it were supposed to be only for procreation, there would be a very limited time in which the female is receptive. But this is not so. Women also like fun.

I believe that the religious claim to the "procreation" idea is because 1) they have been brainwashed, and 2) they enjoy having to live by rules that make them unhappy. In other words - they're unhappy unless they're unhappy.

Regarding the science you referred to, I will offer another example. You say science has not proven that homosexuality is predetermined. As the laws we are determined to live by, how is one to tell the difference between some woman who decides to ignore the laws of the land because she is in a position of power or if she is opinionated. Is she a nut or a lawbreaker? Could be both but, the USA is "the land of the free" and no one has the right to impose their preferences upon others. How do we climb into her head in order to discover the truth? How can the psychology of a fetus be determined? You are claiming to rely on science, but impose your own beliefs which cannot scientifically be determined.

Science is still young and yet, every day, something new is being discovered. Who is to say that tomorrow a pre-disposition toward homosexuality will not be discovered. Perhaps it actually could be a gene!

Instead, you impose your own morals upon others which only succeeds in making life more difficult for that small percentage of homosexuals. Rape of a woman or young boy would certainly be traumatic but doesn't make them susceptible to homosexuality.

Whats wrong W/ same sex marriage ? Well without the 'assumptions' we can deal with the mechanics of the issue. primarily its like an automobile engine, as I have been working on them the past 60 years. The science of compression between cylinders, and pistons which makes the engine run. The Pistons go up and down in the cylinders. which makes things happen, kinda like a man and a woman, and you know which part fits which. If the automobile engine had cylinders and no pistons, and visa versa, then it stands to reason You can not rub two pistons together, nor two cylinders, and get the intended results. The most interesting part is that you cannot reproduce engines that don't run, And the best part is that persons whose parts don't match can't reproduce.

What’s wrong with gay marriage?
God says a man sleeping with men is disgusting in Leviticus 18:22. In the Old King James in 2 Timothy 3:3 it says it is unnatural. In the entire animal kingdom there are no same sex relationships. There are no gay lions, monkeys, or gorillas. There are no lesbian sheep, goats, or other livestock. No one has ever seen two male dogs stuck. The problem is there is too much focus on sex because it feels good. We were not put on this planet just to feel good and to be happy. If all you think about is fleshly pleasure then there is no difference between your mindset and that of a dog. We don’t get paid to be happy, although if you find work that you enjoy then every day is one to look forward to. It is God’s will that you enjoy your work in Ecclesiastes 3:22. Let’s go back to the subject. The problem with homosexuality is it is focused on sex and not on independent living. We have a tendency to move in the direction of our focus. The primary thing we think about is what comes into our lives. Our focus should be on keeping a roof over our heads, paying utilities, and owning things instead of trying to impress people who don’t know us. We should focus on positive things like it says in Philippians 4:8. There are more important things in life than which person you have sex with or what makes you feel good. You would enjoy lovemaking more if you waited until there was a relationship and got to know a person better. Until you can make a living doing what you want you must do what you can.
