Right on both counts.

It is the sad truth that while after-tax corporate profits are the highest ever recorded, about one in nine Americans are on food stamps. Bernie Sanders keeps reminding us that a majority of all new income has gone to the top 1%. The worker gets very little and must rely on welfare to feed his family.

Today we live in the richest country in the world, but that means little to most of us because the wealth is controlled by a tiny handful of individuals. Trump is in this class. Why would he care about us?

Do you have a better suggestion? Why do you assume Trump doesn't care about us. He has all the money he could need or want. Obama has made a mint from his dealings. Let's put someone in there who doesn't have anything to gain. Enough politicians who are trying to get rich.

The deal with Iran is a good first step. President Obama, along with the mutual agreement of the leaders of six countries including Russia and China, are trying diplomacy instead of death threats. That's what I call leadership.

That's what I call stupidity.

Donald is a showman and he has a great message. His contribution is he has generated interest instead of a bore. Republicans normal campaign is a bore. In 12 the we generated interest in summer only to get a loser. Nice man but not a killer. This election is a double sword.
The other issue is republicans in congress.

Recent polling shows that a majority of American voters feel that Donald Trump is not qualified to hold the office of President, they also say he lacks the personality or temperment to be successful in the job. Is it possible that the republicans will nominate a candidate who is unelectable in a general election?

Certainly the last two elections have pointed out that we have already elected an unqualified person to lead the nation. Many people thought, and still do, that Obama lacks the temperament, and personality to do the job. I would add the intelligence as well and the honesty. So Trump is different than Obama. Could he do a worse job? I seriously doubt it.
I don't even think Hillary could do a worse Job....Just as bad, but, not worse. The thing is, people complain about government all the time, and rightly so. But, they keep electing career politicians...The same ilk that causes, yes, causes, the majority of the problems. Now, you look at what the Democrats are offering. Career politicians. The GOP? Well, there is at least diversity. Younger, a WOMAN..A black guy...In fact, the two leaders are not career politicians.......And people don't think they are qualified. Qualified for what? To make seriously bad trade deals or employ bad economic policies? To run up massive debt? To embark on misguided and disasterous foreign policy? Seems any idiot can do that and we can see the results. Who is qualified to be president?

I don't believe any of those numbers. Obama has lied so much and cooked the books, fixed the numbers, been utterly corrupt, who can believe any of this crap. The most transparent? What a joke! If you really buy in to this BS, I have a bridge.

All those who rated him are free loaders. What do you expect? He has been a LIAR from cradle to now. None of his substance is credible!

Why do you have to be qualified? Donald will bring "winning" back into the playbook. He doesn't need congress for that--he can do it with one mighty blow out his orange stained arse!

Very true. We should only elect billionaires. That way we don't have to worry about them being bought off and corrupted--they already are...

Well if the republicans did have someone qualified to be a dog catcher, the dumocrit SOBs would have to scurry under a porch to get away from him. Being qualified for dog catcher is not a prerequisite for holding the office of the President as far as I know, nor is being a lawyer, preacher, doctor, male, female, or politician. Obama proved that even not being a legal citizen of the USA and having verifiable documents is not a requirement. The main requirement is adequate funding and a gift of gab, and both Obama and Trump satisfy these requirements, so why is every leftist in the country badmouthing Trump?

Obama has proven beyond the shadow of any doubt that this country can survive under a totally inept undocumented Muslim president who hates this country and the infidels who live here. I'm not a particular fan of Trump, but he is as qualified as anyone else who has ever been elected president. Trump is a little brash at times, but he can certainly unapologetically hold his own with most anyone. Obama would foolishly apologize us into oblivion while on a vacation or playing golf, and Hillary would be so busy covering her butt that she wouldn't have time to govern the country, but Slick Willie could take care of most of her interns!

One doesn't have to love, or even like, a candidate to vote for one that can lead the country, and Trump, in my opinion at this time, can lead the country far, far, far better than Obama, or Hillary, or Bernie; for that matter he is probably better than most of the republican candidates, excluding Ben Carson or possibly Carly Fiorina.

The first thing we need to do is have the republicans take full control of the government. No, I'm not a republican, but since there are only two parties where votes even have a chance of counting that is likely where my vote will land, however until we clear the government of all the "good old boys" of the Establishment (liberal socialists/communists and the RINOs), the government will remain gridlocked and impotent. We need a leader that has a real passion to make this country great once again and a disposition like a junk yard dog when it comes to negotiating with other countries. Trump is a master negotiator, unlike the incompetent Ketchup Kerry, and if you look at what Trump is doing and listen to what he is saying with a business filtered mind, if a liberal even has a mind, you might just come to the conclusion that what he says and the way he says it makes a lot of sense. If leftists view him through a socialist/communist filter it will literally scare the crap out of them, which is why they continually try to smear him and bring him down - they are very accomplished and determined with their Alinsky tactics and smear agitprop; fear of losing political control is a great motivator to get the leftists to screaming bloody murder because of their deep seated fear of losing their super-plush, extremely overpaid, power positions.

"We the People" need to force the government back to working for the people instead of themselves and their cronies, and restrict it from doing anything that is not specifically granted or authorized by the Constitution. Elected officials are NOT above the law whether they like it or not, and those that can't or won't conform to the Constitution and their Oath of Office should be removed from office immediately.

We really need term limits in spite of what the entrenched politicians try to make us believe, because the way they manipulate and gerrymander their elections simply will not work if we must wait for an honest election to vote them out of office! An honest election will never be forthcoming unless we have improved voting policies, more secure voting machines and counting procedures, and secure Photo IDs; the democrats fear these things clear to their elitist core!

A Toast to the USA: Here's to the cleaning out of the House, the scrubbing down of the Senate, the evacuation and fumigation of the Executive Branch, and the straightening up of the Supreme Court concerning their unconstitutional legislating from the bench by not paying much attention to the Constitution unless it promotes an agenda that works for themselves or their friends!

May God bless the United States of America and reduce the size and power of the government!

When the media is behind someone the way it is for Trump I can't help
But think of how it was 100% for the one we got now. I have a feeling that if Trump is nominated the press would drop him like a bad habit and be just
As strong for whoever the Dem's have. You hardly hear or see any of the others but not with the continuous fan- fare you see with Trump. I like Ted
Cruz, he's one you hear mention the constitution and the bill of rights. I'm
Afraid Trump, though he sounds like many of us Could end up a lot like
Obama. Haven't most of us agreed that the media is really a democratic
Arm that follows orders? If that is so then why is it this part of the Democratic Party is so much for Trump. We don't want more buyers remorse. This is the same show that we had with Obama, we have to be really careful this time, it could be the last if this one isn't.
