Within minutes of the first Republican presidential debate of 2016, it was clear that Fox News’ debate moderator, Megyn Kelly, was out of her league when confronting frontrunner Donald Trump.

Right out of the gate, following a transparent attempt to marginalize Trump by fellow moderator Bret Baier, Kelly’s attempt to label Trump a woman-hater backfired.

Kelly asked the billionaire candidate, “You’ve called women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals.”

Trump was quick on his feet to respond that he was referring to Rosie O’Donnell.

The crowd roared.



Megyn Kelly smirked in defeat.

Kelly’s attempt to play in the big leagues was a move sanctioned by Fox News brass. Yet, Fox executives fail to realize that a pretty face does not give someone credibility as a journalist.

In the case of Megyn Kelly, her resume as a reporter and journalist is as thin as Donald Trump’s hair.

Kelly, an attorney, worked for a short period of time at prestigious law firm, Jones Day, and then handled sporadic assignments for ABC local affiliate WJLA in D.C.

In 2004, Kelly applied to Fox News and her looks rather than resume landed her access to the “Fair and Balanced” host ladder within the network.

After eleven years of bobble head work with Fox News, the network felt she would have the wit and backbone and credibility to take on The Donald.

They were wrong.

The assignment may be a career ender for Kelly who showed her disdain for the leading contender in the race while repeatedly attempting to discredit and challenge the candidate.

The lack of professionalism and intellectual integrity displayed by Kelly proved her lack of qualifications as a serious reporter.

For Fox and Kelly, it’s about entertainment and ratings . . . nothing more.

The reaction on social networks following the debate was sharply negative toward Kelly with thousands of Tweets mocking her performance.

Even the target of Kelly’s night, Trump, got in on the fun and retweeted a comment referring to Kelly as a “bimbo.”

This is not the first time Fox News has been accused of placing beauty before brains.

Within D.C. circles, the makeup of Fox’s political staff and hosts has been a running joke.

From interns to hosts, Fox New’s hiring practices mirrors those of a local Hooters, minus he booty shorts and extra-small tees.

With the exception of Greta Van Susteren, who practically received a face transplant when defecting from CNN to Fox in 2002, the network’s emphasis on looks dominates the hiring scales.

For a news network that relies on the trust of its viewers to stay in business, Fox News should bury the bimbos in favor of fairness and balance that laughably remains their slogan.

Her private e-mail account violated federal law and put this nation security at risk. You support a president that has murdered 130,000 of the ones he told America he was going to save in Libya. Has killed thousands of innocent including 500 children with drone attacks. He has armed Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, Al Qaeda, ISIS, and the Mexican drug cartels. Yet this 'never was' says his biggest fail was not able to disarm America. This is the best you got? And you call republicans stupid. Here is a free clue. Anyone trying to disarm you for your protection is a liar and a tyrant. If you had the sense God gave a piss ant you would have figured out 6 years ago obama is both.

You don't have a clue on what is in the Constitution or what is your duty as an American citizen. Your health insurance is now 2 to 3 times more because you allowed the 'Affordable' Care Act to pass. You let the Freedom Act pass that hasn't one thing to do with freedom.

You allow your phones to be tapped, your mail read, your bank transactions be recorded and go around saying you are free. How stupid is that? You have stood by drooling and soiling your selfs why a standing army was created using ammunition against the Geneva Convention and did Nothing. I'm in a good mood so here is another free clue. You want your freedom and liberty back, the end of being robbed every pay check, and not taxed every time you pull out your cash. Toss both these parties to the curb and start being Americans and do your duty Pull, drag or what everv it takes every elected offical from their perch who has broken their oath, try them, jail them. Now the bankers that have us owing trillions by slide of hands. Take their ill gotten gain. Tty them for crimes against all humanity. Starting wars and profiting from both sides should get these bankers a limb next to our politicials. If you don't want to do that and believe there is a member of your party that will put America back on track just finish disarming and allow the tyrants to rule losers. Don't forget what freedom was.
