The White House has issued more than 7.4 million work permits to foreign workers over Obama’s term of office, according to a recent report.

This totals roughly one million new foreign workers legally coming to America to work every single year–on top of immigrants who come over through using traditional methods, like getting a green card of a guest worker visa.

Worse, many of these workers are on American soil with work authorizations that haven’t even been okayed by Congress, who has the constitutional power to set the nation’s immigration policy.

Some of these illegals holding Obama worker visas include those enrolled in programs like the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program–which allows adults brought to America when they were young children to stay.

Largely, the type of permits that the Obama Administration has been issuing are supposed to only be used as a temporary benefit–but Obama has been issuing them to people who are not eligible for that temporary status and, in some cases, are not even eligible for any American visa whatsoever.

This report, which exposed the incredible lengths the Obama Administration will go to make sure more foreign workers come into America, shocked Congress.

The chairman of the Senate immigration subcommittee, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), called for an investigation.

“This massive increase in the labor supply has occurred simultaneously with a steep drop in family incomes and a sharp rise in the number of Americans pushed out of the workforce. All jobs gains since the recession have gone to foreign workers, while the slack labor market has depressed median family incomes almost $5,000 in that time,” Sessions said.

Contrary to popular belief, many of those work permits were authorized at the request of the companies hiring those individuals. There is a growing trend, for US companies to import workers from foreign lands, that will work for reduced wages, and in many cases, without any benefits at all.

As a consequence of the manner in which these workers are hired, many of them must apply for public assistance, for housing and medical care. The companies hiring them are not required, by law, to provide benefits, including healthcare, retirement or even workers compensation insurance.

So I ask, which is the greater sin? The 1000's of illegal aliens using up public assistance? Or, the US companies IMPORTING foreign workers, denying them the same basic benefits required for AMERICAN workers and forcing the public to pick up the tab?

I believe you are referring to the H1B visa that many tech companies use to bring in workers from India. This is true but the company must pay them prevailing wage under the law.
