No conspiracy theory or time to deflect to party differences. THERE ARE NO PARTIES. We have no representatives in government! No one speaks for us or cares aboout us. Hate the libtard or conservatard and you hate your own freedom. Fool. Money and power have ruled for a while; principles and ideals are long gone. Yet if we come together we can bring that back. We need to bring that back.

Well Said! The politicians are keeping us fighting each other and not them . And I'll add another that is fast dissapearing "freedom" .

The really sad thing is that the few in Congress who try to speak up and do the right thing get beat down by both sides and the press. It makes those who would want to represent the people not to want to even run for office.

What we need is a Constitutional Convention that results in adding Amendments that make loopholes and special interest written in laws illegal and punishable with removal from office and jail time as well as setting term limits on all offices, including the supreme court. It need to be retroactive to all laws presently on the books, therefore removing the loopholes that these thieves in Congress and the White HOuse take advantage of.

Sorry, I disagree. I used to vote for the person, not party, but not anymore. I quit doing that, and started voting straight Republican ticket after I learned that Democrats, regardless of personal beliefs, and regardless of their constituents wishes, vote almost entirely in lock step with their leader (right now it's Pelosi and Reid). If they stray from this, they are severely punished when it comes to re-election time.

I agree that the Republicans are not perfect, but they do not, for the most part, vote in lock step with their leaders. To the chagrin of the RINOS, the Tea Party electees being a good example of going against their leaders.

A three party system will only result in the Democrat Party being in power forever.

The solution is to get involved. Get your friends and neighbors involved in the election process. Educate yourself on the issues and political process, and educate those around you. Then, show up at the ballot box. If 4 million Republicans had not stayed home during this last election, Obama would not be President right now.

We need no parties! I've have felt this for years, all be of independent vote and not be manipulated by this gang mentality of "parties," which is what the dogma is. Allowing the politicians to control and maneuver,and lead the group as the Sheppard to his sheep.

There should be absolutely no party affiliation on the ballot and nobody should be able to vote a straight party ticket.

actually I think we need a no party system as parties tend to coalesce and acquire power and devolve into corruption

One solution is term limits, but those in office would never agree to that.

The only apparent agenda for either party are aimed at the next election. I get e-mails from both parties and they end with either " help us keep the house " or " help us get the house back " and then ask for money. The ENTIRE Government has become institutionalized. Every issue becomes a platform for the next election. Consequently, nothing really gets done and things go on as they always have. Neither party is able to live up to it's ideals, assuming they even remember what they were.

We have a third part now . The Independant party . But it dosn't work to well . They don't have the money the Dem's and Repbl's. have.
It's mosty all about money , you can sell anything to people if you have enough money to advertise on T.V.
