In engineering we call that confirmation bias. An experiment can get valuable data that confirms some sort of intuition, but if you don't or can't replicate the experiment, than something extraordinary happened while you were conducting the original experiment.
There isn't anything wrong with bias, unless of course: you are seeking for truth.
