Political correctness is a very serious affliction that has done incredible damage to our country. It will eventually destroy America if it is not pulled up by the roots and finally eradicated.

When Donald Trump announced for President, he made some strong statements about the immigration problems facing our nation. He said that Mexico was “bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they’re rapists, and some, I assume, are good people.” In essence, Trump noted that Mexico was not sending their scientists and scholars to America.

In his speech, he mentioned that while immigrants are taking jobs in this country; corporations like Ford are setting up plants in Mexico. To deal with the crisis, Trump vowed to build a border fence and have Mexico pay for it.

This kind of tough talk resonated with millions of Americans who have seen no action on illegal immigration for decades. In the latest New Hampshire, Iowa and national GOP polls, Trump has rocketed to second place. This shows that Americans are tired of the influx of illegal immigrants and the non-existent border security. They are tired of illegal aliens committing crimes, receiving federal benefits and taking jobs away from law abiding citizens.

It is an outrage that our borders are not secure. In fact, no other nation in the world has both wide open borders coupled with generous benefits for illegal aliens. Donald Trump wants this giveaway of American jobs and federal incentives to end. He wants to secure our border and improve our national security. These are goals that all Americans should applaud; however, in our politically correct society, such goals are too controversial.

In the aftermath of Trump’s comments, Macy’s dropped his clothing line; NBC “fired” him from the show “Celebrity Apprentice” and said they would not air the Miss USA or Miss Universe pageants. The illegal immigration comments were also too controversial for Univision, another leftist network which dropped the beauty pageants from their broadcast schedule. Fortunately, the Miss USA pageant was picked up by the Reelz channel, so Americans will still be able to watch a show with a 64-year broadcasting tradition.

Sadly, Macy’s and the networks succumbed to the pressure of Hispanic groups and the insidious influence of political correctness. Clearly, Trump did not lie about the border problems, but, these businesses and the special interests that control our politicians do not want to address the immigration crisis. Democrats benefit from the cheap votes and the crony capitalists who control the GOP benefit from the cheap labor. The ones who are the casualties of the open border policy are the Americans who lose their jobs or become victims to the criminal activity of illegal aliens.

The good news is that Trump is not like other politicians who would have apologized or backed away from the controversy. Instead, he doubled down and sued Univision for $500 million. In a priceless statement, Trump also blasted NBC as the network that “will stand behind lying Brian Williams, but won’t stand behind people that tell it like it is, as unpleasant as that may be.”

How true, America today is replete with cowards who are afraid to “tell it like it is.” Fortunately, one of the rare truth tellers is running for President. Let’s see if the American people want the truth or if they want to maintain their belief in fiction, supported only by politically correct lies.

Hopefully, as the campaign progresses, Trump will stand firm with this strong message. If so, he will continue to find support from Americans who have been ignored for decades.

Today our problems are so severe it is time for not only tough talk, but, more importantly, strong action. Political correctness is a very serious affliction that has done incredible damage to our country. It will eventually destroy America if it is not pulled up by the roots and finally eradicated.

That certainly is the truth and I and thousands of others fully agree with
those words. "They don't seem to realize that ignoring the truth only
encourage's this politically correct trash. Political correct means don't
tell the truth, if you do couch it in a language that is hardly understood by most people, If you tell it the way it really is then your a bigot or a homophobe or a racist. When I talk about so -called "gays" I use the language that is the truth, Homosexuals, why did they change the name
of it, are they ashamed, why gays when homosexual is the real word.
more people have to use the words that are the truth.

When Trump said the people coming across our border were criminals he was technically right. It is illegal to enter the United States undocumented.

I don't like Trump personally and think he'd be a horrible President, however, I can't fault him for speaking his mind. Most candidates NEVER do that. Instead, they let staffers, media gurus, marketing gurus and their financial backers - decide what they'll say, how they'll say it and what they'll stand for.

It's pathetic. I think political campaigns have done more to bolster PC than any other single thing.

ipnmajor-why would Trump be a horrible president ? Is it because he tells it like it is and would not kow-tow to foreign leaders ? Are you fearful that political correctness might be a thing of the past with Trump ? Do you think he would act on securing the border ? Can he institute policies that would lead to job creation ? Would he put America first ? is it because he is not a democrat ? His election would be a complete departure from what we have done in the past and it is time we allow a successful private sector person to lead the country. Good Luck America !!!

He just may make the left leaning media get a grip and report the truth for a change..I like it!!

I also do not think his statement about the borders is the sole reason for his surge but rather because he is not a politician and he does tell it like it is and he's got the you know whats to call the others out on it!!! Just exactly what we need, a leader!!!

However,I remain optimistic about ever pulling the ticket..His own party knows he's a loose cannon and isn't going to bow down to them either..Look at their initial reaction for Trump calling it what it is in the face of this PCBS!!! I say GOOD for him...At the very least he'll make the others have to state their position and eat them for lunch if they digress.........

Trump is no fool, he knows he has no chance of reaching the whitehouse. What Trump is doing is taking the oppertunity to promote himself. For whatever reason he is in need of constantly being in the limelight and stroking his own ego, can you see a businessman like Warren Buffett or even Steve Jobs demeaning themselves by appearing on a show like celerberty Boss? Trump has all the cash he could use, now he just wants to stay in the celerberty limelight and in the tradition of class acts like Kim Kadarashian and Paris Hilton the more obnoxious and outrageous the better. It will be interesting to see if he will bait any of the other republican hopefuls to follow suit.

Personally I think he's just fed up with the way the country is heading.
I'm sure he know's he won't be elected but what he's doing might put some
back-bone in others and they might at least know that what he is saying, though not in a PC way, might be the truth.
Have you heard many of the other's saying what he's saying with-out sugar
coating it? I haven't,they won't even say "illegal"but the citizen's say it and their glad someone else says it. He tells it the way it is,of course anyone running for president musn't use words that the "people" use that's too "low-boot". Maybe those running will awaken to what the peole want
because in the long run it's what counts. What I mean is that he is speaking in a language that the voter's use. Maybe someone will catch on.

I cannot believe that you said he can't win. He damn well can win if you and everybody else who loves this country gets off their ass and vote for him. This is the first time I have ever heard a candidate that has a lot to lose, tell the fuckin truth to the voters. The rest of them will fuss and cater some, but will never tell you what Trump did. His qualifications exceed Obama and all the other candidates running. He will do what he said. We damn sure need him to restore America back to what we were. Leave it to a Democrat to fuck up America. ENTITLEMENTS is the way you spell Democrat in reality. Please wake up, and vote for a real President this time.

You said it better than I could have Richarsdo135, that's the way a lot of people feel but can't put it in words. These proghressive Republicans
are a serious problem, they actually undermine someone like Trump..who
seem's to be afraid of no one. I was undecided about who to vote for but
more and more I'm looking at Trump. He seem's to know what is needed for this country and I think he has the U-No-What to do what he must and let the chips fall where they may. I hope he can be in on the debates, that should be a real show!He could care less what the other's think, he will
let us know what HE thinks.
Good luck to the Donald!!
