What I find so sad is how typical Marvin is of the empty headed Leftist propaganda machine. They learn the lines and insert them anywhere they can, whether there is any rational basis for it or not. Other than paper weights, what the hell are they any good for?

Just a quick observation: we usually recognize insults aimed at us, or mistake disagreement for insults. When people we agree with hurl insults we usually don't recognize them as such.

Wrong! That is certainly Liberalspeak for 'why can't we all just surround ourselves with niceness' and bespeaks every bit as empty a head as their Communist forebears have repeatedly demonstrated around the world.
I can direct you to a Liberal who posted that Liberals honestly believe that Conservatives are everything that is wrong in America. I can assure you that a lot of Conservatives would make the same assessment of Liberals. My motivation for making these truths known was that comment.
If you don't want to face the truth, don't push the lies. If you think Progressives can work with anyone, you haven't paid attention to history.

Others are just repeating mantras they hear their heroes say on their favorite news shows. And if you disagree with them then you hate someone. These people are also caught up in their own egotistical viewpoints and most of them honestly believe they are right. Sometimes in this same vein, they are losing the argument, and have nothing left but to attack. It might be good to feel sorry for these people.
I have made the mistake of thinking that if I attack them in the same way it will wake them up. But it never happens. People refuse to believe the truth because deep down they don't want it. They prefer to believe a lie. It is easier.
Then there is one more reason. A few people, and very few, but a few, are trolls who are here to create dissension, to mock anyone who believes in the truth, and in democracy, and they use whatever attack they can use hoping to discourage people, and silence them. Sad, but that is really happening. What's really sad is, these people are going to win, at least in the short run. Of course, they don't realize that once the powers that be are done with them, they too will be discarded, but that is their fate. It's just like the Mafia. They hire someone to kill someone, then they kill the hit man. This is really going on.
