Life Observation

This is a beautiful planet and I have been fortunate to have seen many diverse parts of it. Nature's beauty eclipses any paltry artistic efforts by man with Earth's rich hues and majestic vistas. Even though from time to time I ponder the meaning of life in general and my life in particular, I have no conclusions. Having simply had, will suffice and now I am in a mood to express gratitude for all the richness I experienced.

Enough is enough...a privileged childhood in military settings, nurturing parents, a good man as husband, three stimulating children, a rewarding career, interesting friends and a beautiful retirement home are indeed more than enough. Having always had the freedom to be myself, making my own choices and walking my own path has been its own satisfaction. I never sought human riches or fleeting power for with either, enough seems never to be enough for those who value these.

Having studied history, philosophy, economics, religion and most especially logic, I can not help but wonder at how completely mankind has screwed up what he was given. He does not learn from history. I see little difference between today and the times just before Noah's Great Flood or Sodom and Gomorrah. Man ponders, yet does not act from wisdom. He understands supply and demand and pride in work and at the same time undermines economic stability with foolish laws and hope for income redistribution. He preaches many religions, yet does not realize that mankind's success mostly depends on basic morality as both the glue and grease that enable people peacefully to live together. Most recently, all semblance of logic has been tossed aside in the upside down world that America has become.

The more I read, the less I understand. The Internet has brought the world, with all its conflicting and confusing message to my door. It is hard to separate fact from propaganda, actual events from false flags and staged events, statistics from outright lies. I realize that I probably know more assorted facts and have been exposed to more different points of views than my leaders and all this leads me to believe there is never one or even two simple answers as they would have us believe. Government however, to me, is never going to be the answer. Only in a world where a simple moral code suggests we live and let live, work for what we have, treat one another with respect and love unconditionally will the impact of man even come close to the beneficence of nature. Mankind has become the evil serpent in the Biblical paradise called Eden.

So I have spent my time on earth, happy and grateful for what I was given and achieved. I am only sorry that others are not so blessed. After the coming civilization reset, I hope any who survive will actually learn from history.

Wonk, there will indeed be a reset, but all is not lost. We will work out these problems when enough people come around to the idea that it MUST be done.
