Physicians who shortcut care, and greedy big pharma are at the heart of America's healthcare crisis.
Fix it as it emerges don't forsake it in the womb. It will otherwise be years before someone else dares to tackle the huge deficiencies in America's healthcare.
We are back to the battle of women's rights. This is MY body, that fetus is nothing more than a parasite living off my body. And I will do what I see fit. If you have a problem with that, then YOU have the pregnancy and baby.
Nobody made you have sex; it was your decision (unless you were force ably raped). Decisions have consequences. Sex often results in pregnancy. Were't you ever taught about the bees and the birds? So you chose to have sex, but don't want the inconvenience of a pregnancy and responsibility of caring for a baby, so you decide to kill the bastard. Oops, that decision has consequences too. You have now committed murder. No, I have not, you say, abortion is legal in this country/world. Ahh, yes, "in THIS world, but God is not of this world, according to the Bible. So, have you thought about how you will be judged in His world? God said, I knew you even when you were in your mother's womb. When you kill one of God's children, it is murder, no matter what Obama says. Obama is the one who promised you could keep your doctor and your insurance and Obamacare would not cost you one thin dime, remember? Unlike Obama, God does not renege on His promises.
The wage of sin is death. That baby you are carrying is not a parasite, it is a human being and when you take away its life, you become a murderer.

I'm not pregnant, never have been, and never will be. I have always been responsible in my sex life. But I resent anyone who tries to tell me what to do with MY body. Personally, I would have it and put it up for adoption. I am pro choice/anti-abortion. I don't have the right tell someone else what to do with their body.

Whose body is the baby's? Shouldn't he/she have some say in what happens to it? Since he/she is unable to speak for himself, it is up to us who against murder to speak for him. Or should we just turn our back on the most helpless among us? I do think we are our brother's keeper.
I respect your sense of responsibility for your actions. Thank you. I wish more young women had your values. Our whole country would be better off if they did.
Ms Brandi if you oppose interfering with someone else's body then you support aborting full term babies in the 8th or 9th month?

...and you've come to that conclusion how? What is it you think physicians have done or are doing? How about those big pharma's, what is it they've done you object to? Are you troubled because they supported Obamacare?

In the 8th and 9th month the fetus is viable outside the mother's womb. At that point, when viability is not an issue, then it's murder. Unless it is a life or death situation.
Ok so its a viability issue not a " Its her body issue". So we agree on abortion. We just disagree on what month to outlaw them.

Dave, I practiced Medicine for 38 years. Now I see people come into the ER with a complaint. Rather than do a careful history and physical examination, they just listen to the chief complaint and order every lab test and imaging study they can think of, and expect them to make the diagnosis. A good doctor can make an accurate diagnosis more than 90% of the time if they would just listen to the patient and don't interrupt, and perform a careful and complete examination, thus saving $$$$ in needless diagnostic studies. I have been there then and I've been there now. What a difference. By the way, I taught emergency medicine in medical school for several years. Big Pharma is another topic I will address if you wish. jp

If you have the experience you claim you would know the main reason doctors ask for all those test is defensive - tort lawyers have made millions by alleging malpractice for failing to order tests. Trial lawyers have been very successful in keeping tort reform in any real manner - and again should your experience be what you claim that is not news to you.
Big Pharma is nothing more than big corporations trying to make profits. That is no different from any other industry that I know of, perhaps you can tell us what industries don't try to maximize profits.
American Drug companies produce 65% of the new drugs used on this planet. Lawyers produce misery
