Cat fish anyone?
Beautiful Vietnam today - along with the wonderful fishing experience!
You go out to a nice restaurant and order Tilapia, Basa, etc. and here's where it came from!
Think I'll order the steak.
Raised, processed, canned, frozen,in Vietnam?
http://www.youtube.com/embed/h1nEPzsFpc0?feature=player This is why I only eat locally wild caught fish and shrimp. Cost a little more, sometimes not, but you know where they come from. I will also eat the wild caught salmon and crab shipped from Alaska.

http://youtu.be/SfPxzKAvMAQ   Noodling is big in the South. Crazy buggers. Regarding the other fish, yes they do export it to the USA. You can find it in Walmart and any number of grocery stores. What ticks me off is that our government food inspectors hardly check that crap at all. I wouldn't eat the farm raised fish here in the USA either as they are loaded with anti-biotics and other chemicals. :hunf:
I generally eat fish I catch right in the Gulf. As good as the Local Restauraunts are around here they can't compare to fresh. Four of us caught ten grouper the other day. Deep fried with a side of jambalaya. Priceless.

I only use the grill for my seafood. Fish and shrimp. Catfish I usually fry.
Grill is healthier, but deep fried tastes so good.

Just a note folks; 85 % of shrimp imported is from Asia waters. Water pollution is there easy way to rid themselves of waste. Question. When eating fish in a restaurant "how" does one tell "where" it came from? I stick with chicken. It takes 8 weeks for a chick to be on your dinner table. Check the label of Perdue chicken products. Definitely safe to eat. GTH
Actually a lot of the Restauraunts here will cook your catch if you bring it in.
