Huh-talk about incoherent--'Old Geezer' is absolutely typical of how their propaganda 'tripe' is indeed working! In case he didn't or has not noticed--THEY ARE the government--despite what they want the public to believe about who is in charge of things. Additionally, far too many apparently believe and seem to have bought into the lie! Take the time to study America's banking 'debacle'-for want of a better description-and why and how it DOESN'T work (except for a few very-very-very rich--hmmm--so who do you think America's 'debt' is owed to?) For Geezer and folks like him-I implore them to take the time to study what is going on CURRENTLY behind CLOSED doors regarding jobs and America's trade programs--(and especially 'who') is doing the deal. Another hint-you ain't gonna find labor there--as in representatives of the working class. A new international 'trade' agreement (described as NAFTA on steroids) is being negotiated IN SECRET -right now-by your rich -and always 'looking out for your interests'- corporate and politically conservative buddies. All the while they have us 'arguing' about park access or being able to visit a national monument or memorial-even to the point of their shutting down the whole shebang over what some recognize as nothing but a 'red herring'. Egad-they have us fighting over -HEALTH CARE- for the people. Huh--this isn't a bad thing folks-it is life and death to put it as simple as I can! So what is wrong with a government that provides 'stuff' for its citizens like the ACA-there is nothing 'not to like' about it! Howcum we always have money for multiple wars (which I think we can agree is a bad thing?), bombs, bullets, $150,000 Hummers to get blown up by the thousands in the desert, and plenty of drones and systems to spy on Americans. Hmmmm-why and for WHOM? But no money for the poor and needy-'hell no aren't they all just a bunch of deadbeats'-another huh--what about the 'working poor' which makes up a huge part of food stamp recipients? Folks-your hate is pathetic-your reasoning-faulty-and your information horribly flawed. For all youse guys who don't 'get it'-wise up before it is too late! The 'red meat' is there for all to learn the truth about! We have met the enemy and it is rich, corporate America and their hired guns-the conservative, Republican politicians of America. More on 'trade'--have you noticed who loves NAFTA-hint: it ain't labor--who hates NAFTA-hint: it ain't big corporate America. If you liked NAFTA-you're gonna love this new 'deal'--hoo boy does this look, walk, and quack like George Bush's 'New World Order". Result:--kiss your working ass goodbye--this plan is so rotten and destructive to America's working class and future job creation it just cannot be allowed to succeed. It smells all the way to Pluto! And double yup---it is still a class war!

[quote=Richard94611]Does anyone care if the ACA Navigators had background checks ? Doesn't sound like a very sensitive job to me.................

Well, you should care. You appear not to have signed up even though you argue for this plan. Here are some of the questions I saw on the application:

Section V. Previous year Gross Annual Income
1. Gross annual income from employment... for you, spouse, child.
2. Net income from your farm, ranch Property or business...for you, spouse, child
3. List other income. SSAN, pension, interest, dividends...for you, spouse, child.

Section VI: Previous year deductible expenses
1. total non-reimbursed medical expenses paid by you
2. amount you pain last calendar year for funeral and burial (including prepaid) for deceased spouse or dependent child..
3. Amount paid last year for college or vocational expenses..

Section VII; Previous calendar year networth
1.Cash amount in bank accounts (checking , savings, cd's) you, spouse, child...
2. Market value of land and buildings minus mortgages and liens... you, spouse child...
3.Value of other property or assets (art, rare coins collectables )minus the amount you owe on these, Include value of farm ranch or business assets.........

Im beginning to think you are in one of the exempt groups, like a government employee? Im certain youre not required to participate

Jaysus-Jaysus-Jaysus---Deja Vu all over again-like the argument over Obama's birthplace--(which was always really not legally questionable).

ACA or 'Obamacare'--IS NOT FREE!!

And neither are other countries social medical programs-- thought I would throw that in for a little fun with the 'unwashed brain dead masses'!

You might be interested in a direct quote from the San Fransisco Chronicle, certainly NOT a bastion of Conservatism:

["Shelly Ross of San Francisco was looking forward to the opening of the new health insurance marketplaces under the Affordable Care Act because she was hoping to get a better deal.

But now that she's seen her options, Ross is disappointed. Turns out she earns slightly too much money to qualify for federal financial aid to help her buy coverage in the state's exchange, called Covered California. And because policies have to be upgraded to comply with the new law, her rates are going up nearly 10 percent.

"Every plan is going to cost more than what I pay now. And what I pay now is ridiculous," said Ross, 47, who owns a cat-sitting business called Tales of the Kitty and pays more than $400 a month for her insurance. "It's a great thing for some people, but it's certainly not helping me."]

I have never seen such an uninformed opinion in my life. Bernanke is pumping 85 Billion per month into Wall St. Why is the economy struggling yet the DOW is way up? The wealth gap has grown more under Obama than anytime since the 1920s. Obama has created more poor and more rich. The middle class is getting hammered with Obamacare. Obama closing his eyes to illegal immigration helps who? Not the middle class.

However-the Plutocrats/Oligarchy that are/is behind the turmoil in this country haven't yet succeeded in a complete takeover. Who do you think is really in charge of the Tea Party?. We do cast a vote for 'representatives' to vote for laws. But that is about as far as it goes for the 'people' having a say! The Republicans and Tea Party portion of Congress of the United States is a pawn of big business. They are controlled by 1% of the population. How often do you hear-this legislation is good for the people-or this law will benefit the working class from the Tea baggers or Flubdublicans?? All I hear from them is what 'it' will do for business and jobs! Huh-they (American banks and business)are sitting on mountains of cash ---so where are the jobs that 'business' is so good at creating? Then swoop in as saviors-heh-heh-heh-like Atilla the Hun, Ivan the Terrible, Genghis Khan and yup--that little turd Hitler. Liberal and progressive thought and action is NOT bad for the people-period-it is responsible for what we hold so dear in this country. I notice there is no mention that the Obamacare we have now is not the Obamacare that was passed, thanks to the over 2500 illegal waivers that Obama has issued to his corporate cronies, Congress, and the unions. Maybe Obama confused the non existent $2500 savings with the amount of back door pay offs to his supporters. this law was passed using lies, bribery, and intimidation, along with parliamentary tricks and the lies have never stopped. As for racism the only racism connected with Obama is that which Obama manufactures in hopes of keeping the light of truth off his corruption and abuses of power

Read the article. Deductibles have spiked. Mine doubled to $6000.00

That means Obamacare has cost me $3000 in extra deductibles alone. My Out of Pocket doubled to $12,000 and my premium went up 15%. . And no more copay. We now have consumer managed healthcare. You pay the doctor visits

Dennis, I am shocked by such deductibles..My deductibles are varied for all sorts of things. $125 per year before anything kick in. $15 per Dr visit or clinic visit. My premium went up $8/mo..Drug cost in a new set of perimeters so may be a little more or little less for prescription. Have not sorted that out yet. I keep seed the same half doz bitches about ACA. They are incorrect or not yet had time to develop. We have to see how it works and change what is not good. We can do that using the laws you so strongly support. Richards URL should be read, good article and facts that are seldom seen.. They are not exciting but good news for Americans. Sagenut, try not to emply harm to the other posters. Dumbest post of the year. America has 18 TRILLION IN DEBT. We borrow 40cents on every dollar. We are headed on a path of financial destruction. Nearly every respected economist said this is unsustainable. We have a major illegal immigration problem. Soon after amnesty you will have another 11.7 million on Obamacare. Who pays? Democrats don't care about these issues they only care about votes. They would whore their nation for a few votes.

These are the Tea Party core issues. If you disagree with them YOU are an EXTREMIST NUT

Dennis, My typing got ahead of my head..The $125 deductible is on my drug coverage, then the mixed copays as a stated..I can not find mention of a single large deductible, hospital stay is $200, ER is $30..Minnesota has had very good health care for some 10 yrs or so. A state plan a little like Mass got under --who was the republican guy again? Home of a lot of carriers, and Mfg of medical products, maybe we got some benefit from that..
