I wasn't taught this "lie" about spaghetti. The "progressive" schools I went to (yes, that's the adjective they used to describe themselves) taught, in "Home Ec Class," how to make spaghetti from flour, water and oil. We were taught "cursive writing" and how to diagram sentences, too. We also celebrated Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Valentine's Day, and each other's birthdays.
Oh, no! Does that mean the 'peeps' crop is in jeopardy, too?
