Huffington Post lies for Elizabeth Warren

The notoriously liberal Huffington Post has been caught spreading a major lie in order to defend Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren.

Is there any hope left for the mainstream media!?

Warren has been under fire after a report released April 4th revealed she paid her female staffers significantly less than her male staffers — an embarrassing hypocrisy for one of the most liberal senators in the United States.

The original report exposed that this self proclaimed “feminist” was secretly paying her female staffers 71% of what she pays her male staffers on average — 10% worse than the national average.

But The Huffington Post couldn’t possibly allow the dark t***h about a Democrat to be leaked.

They published an article titled “No, Elizabeth Warren Doesn’t Pay Women Less Than Men,” in which they attempt to save Warren’s reputation.

The liberal writer used his research to come to the conclusion that Warren paid her female staffers fairly… except for one small hiccup.

It seems their data was all fudged… and was planted by Warren’s office.

Talk about fuzzy numbers.

The data used in the article was provided to them by Warren’s office and experts say it has zero statistical merit.

The info provided, which experts say is clearly biased in her favor, was investigated by Washington Free Beacon reporter Laura Bassett.

Bassett quickly pulled the t***h out — and it’s embarrassing for both Warren and The Huffington Post.

The data set included the average salary of every employee that has ever worked at the office… but compares them over the course of time that they worked there.

Then, it took the median average for each g****r, landing them at the conclusion that women make slightly more than the men in Warren’s office – $44,109 to $43,348.

But it’s all fuzzy math, according to University of Michigan economics professor Mark Perry. Perry completely debunked their lies, telling the Free Beacon, “If you look at multiple years of salary data, there is too much turnover and changes in staff to make any valid comparisons of g****r differences in income.”

He continued, “Since there is much greater turnover at the lower-paid positions compared to the higher-paid positions, it would be difficult to design statistical methodology to account for the turnover of younger workers/staffers.”

When the specific individuals included in the spreadsheet were further investigated, it becomes clear how the data was clearly twisted by Warren’s office to work in her favor.

Busted.

One worker included, Ceferina Murrell, worked for Warren for just six days and was paid $777.75. But Warren’s office included Murrell as earning $47,313 as her total salary… even though that sum was never actually paid!

And that isn’t the only instance in Warren’s data of a salary that was never actually paid.

A man’s salary was conveniently manipulated to lower the median male salary. Walter Cross is listed as earning a $27,948 salary, but that is just a small amount of his total income, as he works for multiple Senate offices and earns close to $150,000 a year, according to the Free Beacon.

Even more alarming, a woman named Alexandra Swartsel is listed as earning $134,816… but never actually appeared on Warren’s payroll.

That’s right — Warren’s office was making things up to make themselves look better, and The Huffington Post printed the numbers — without bothering to check the facts!

The conclusion is simple.

The mainstream media is either: 1) Willfully ignorant, or 2) They were knowingly lying to the American people.

Either way, The Huffington Post needs to be called out and shamed for their biased, irresponsible reporting.
