pschn, Thanks for that nasty anti- Semitic posting. Last night at my Seder, I couldn't help but dwell on the part of the Hagaddah that proclaimed that the Jews must love the neighbor ( those not Jewish ) because you were once strangers in the land of Egypt.
I don't think that the government of Israel will stop defending their people because more Muslims die than Jews in the Palestinian- Israel conflict.
I don't know what a Talmudic takeover means. So few Jews in this country have ever read the Talmud. The Talmud is the oral law of Judaism. with commentaries and commentaries of those commentaries. It tells Jews how to observe the commandments of the Old Testament. For example, the Torah tells Jews to remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. The Talmud tells Jews how to observe that commandment. It is unique in that it is the only ancient religious text that has a majority and minority opinion on each point covered.
Judaism doesn't seek converts, unlike Islam and most Christian denominations. If you wanted to convert to Judaism, you would have to speak to a Rabbi that would do everything he could to try to talk you out of it.
Jewish law has never been imposed on anybody for the last two thousand years, not even Jews. I remember watching a tv news show some time ago. Only one of the many banks of the Fed was owned by Jews. It operated like every other bank.
You really need to understand the people of Israel.We mean no harm to anybody. We just want to defend ourselves to prevent another holocaust. The credo of the US is In G-d is our Trust. Israels credo is never again.
