I've been told that the video is deceptive because of the camera angle. I looked at another video, from a different angle, and it looks close enough to vertical to me. In any case, no other air frame can equal it. Pretty impressive. BTW, can you name the only jet that can go vertical, while accelerating? I'm talking about standing on it's tail end, and accelerating upwards, just like a rocket.

What's really amazing, is what I saw at an airshow in Wisconsin. An F-15 flew over the runway, with it's nose angled up. It was just about hovering over the runway, dancing on it's thrusters. Then it went vertical, and took off like a rocket. The only military aircraft that could do it, at the time. I think the F-22 can duplicate it, but I'm not sure if it has the raw power.
