We had a pebble fall onto a roadway here in Oregon. Guess this could be expected after 7 months and 80 inches of rain. Thankfully this isn't Texas where everything is bigger cause it could have been a real problem then.

That is one bug pebble there and will take some time to move that off of the road for sure.

If Oregon's Highway Department is going to be working with explosives I want plenty of warning so I can be completely out of the state well in advance.

We call the Oregon Highway Department here pea brains so how about we take some of your pea gravel and you can have some of our pea brains? State highway people and explosives getting rid of said pea gravel reminds me of an old song "Fly Me to the Moon". When they start blowin crap up I'm taking a vacation to Texas.

They can't be much worse than ours Dog! If anybody ever invents a shovel that'll stand up by itself, 2/3's of them will be out of work!

Why do they put out signs saying' "Guardrail Damage Ahead?"

Always makes me think: "Damn! Now I gotta wait, and hit the next one!"

A lot of times when I get to the damaged guardrail, I can't help but think: "Stinkin Rookies!" I mean....if you're gonna tear it up, go ahead, and tear it up right!
