Ted Koppel claims that Hannity is "bad for America" because he comes out with a fair and balanced approach. http://www.lifezette.com/polizette/hannity-strikes-back-at-koppel/ Never realized Koppel was so liberal and one-sided, but he made it clear on Hannity.

He is just such an i***t. Just another liberal left wing loon who can't hide his bias. He knocks Hannity for being an 'opinion' guy, but he thinks he is a 'news' guy like Cronkite who could actually report the news with a neutral outlook.

I didn't realize what an un-American elitist Koppel was. I remember him when he seemed to be a journalist. Perhaps I got wiser and better. Koppel didn't.

I know. Journalists today just can't cover up their bias like they used to. Guys like Cronkite, even Tim Russert, who I actually thought leaned a little bit to the Right, turned out to be a liberal. I found this out after he passed and I was somewhat shocked. He did a great job of hiding it and that's what a great journalist does. Few and far between these days.

I have a good friend that is a news man in Charlottesville, VA. He refuses to talk about political likes and dislikes because he doesn't want to taint opinions. He once told me that he was always very cautious to be factual, including all facets of a story. He felt it was his responsibility as a journalist to leave his candidate buttons and bumper stickers at the door when coming to work. Too bad we don't have more professionals like that. I have to say, I suspect he is mainstream politically, but it just doesn't show -- on the air, or in person.

I have a good friend that is a news man in Charlot... (show quote)

That's what I call 'professionalism' and most in the industry, simply don't have that anymore. Like someone recently said, "Journalism is DEAD!". Next time you see that guy, you should pay him a compliment. I don't even know the guy and I respect him already. Refreshing!! MSM is suffering though. Most people who are political junkies and even normal regular American folk are sick and tired of the 'liberal bias' because we know guys like Chuck or Jake Tapper or 'Mr.Thrill up his leg' are going to bring a one sided story with a strong liberal bias. I used to enjoy watching shows like 'SNL' but they have become so entrenched in bringing the perverted, liberal, loonified, message it's become d********g. Nothing but indoctrination. Ask 'Alicia' who thinks Alec Baldwin is exactly how Trump acts.

Exactly! Hannity was BAD for the not-so-subtle message (indoctrination) that 95% of the MSM are trying to get out. That's what Koppel was really saying. Like I said, they used to try to cover it up. When you profess that you "have a thrill up your leg" when Obama got elected, hard to cover your bias. Thank God for an equivalent available for those of us leaning Right, such as Fox news. At least they put people like Beckel, Juan Williams, and their newest addition, Marie Harf. What a winner she is. "All we need to do to stop ISIS is "to provide jobs". Something like that. It was pretty lame.
