President Trump’s attempts to block refugee admittance through executive action have been stopped in federal court. Consequently, over 8,400 refugees have resettled in the U.S., according to State Department figures released Sunday.

Trump’s first executive order called for a temporary ban on the resettlement of refugees for 120 days, and an indefinite ban on the entry of Syrian refugees. This order was subsequently blocked by a federal judge in Seattle and the decision was upheld by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. The president signed a revamped order on March 6 that included the 120 day temporary ban on refugee resettlement, but removed the provision about Syrian refugees.

This revised order was subsequently blocked by federal judges in Hawaii and Maryland. The Department of Justice is currently in the appeals process, and a judge in Virginia recently ruled that the order is in fact constitutional.

Due to these troubles in court, President Trump has not been able to effectively carry out his campaign promise to stop refugee resettlement. Since he took office, 8,476 refugees have been resettled in the U.S., according to the Refugee Processing Center. More specifically, 1,131 Syrian refugees have resettled in the country during this time. This is nearly three times the number of Syrian refugees, 395, that were resettled in the same period last year under President Obama.

When President Trump signed his first executive order regarding refugee admittance, he said, “We don’t want them here. We want to ensure that we are not admitting into our countries the very threats that our soldiers are fighting overseas.” During the campaign, he called the entrance of Syrian refugees a “great Trojan horse.”

The Department of Homeland Security announced in early March that approximately 300 individuals who entered the U.S. as refugees are being investigated for terrorism.

There is a simple solution to this court challenge gambit, Trump should issue an executive order temporarily banning all immigration, including "special" cases and asylum seekers, without exception. He might even include H1B applicants so the prohibition would be total, no foreigners. He can cite the necessity for our security agencies to vet all of the immigrants who have been hastily imported, without being inundated with new applicants. How long? As long as it takes.
Include a 30 day hiatus in visa applications and include those persons currently in this country on visas in the vetting.

He can order the NSA to disgorge the information they have been illegally gathering on all persons in the United States, with special regard to foreigners wandering this country, so the policing agencies can examine their activities.

No longer is America an easy target for un-vetted aliens of ANY ethnicity, criminal, or non-assimilating status, son; although illegal "sanctuary" cities are still a formidable bait that has to be quickly eliminated. The amount of illegal peoples who now care to "Tread-on-America," have certainly (D)iminished, and now {it seems} the only people who find our new Sheriff palatable, are those who are looking-for-trouble. And they SURE found it. NO IFS ANDS OR BUTS. What IS that "crushing" noise I keep hearing??? GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO REP. TREY GOWDY (R); and, GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PRESIDENT "45" DONALD J. TRUMP (R); JUST LIKE THE WEATHER!!! "(D)RAIN THAT {RADICAL SECULAR LIBERAL PROGRESSIVE "LEFTY"} SWAMP!!!"

There have been 1000's of refugees coming here for years. How long have we been at war in the Middle East, 16, 17 years? How many terrorist attacks have they committed in that time period? Yes! That's right - ZERO! The closest we've come to that was the wife of the CA shooter, who imported his wife legally.

The proof that what we are ALREADY doing, is the absence of terrorist attacks in this country. Trump didn't need to fix something that wasn't broken, but it was a nice campaign scare tactic - and pure bulls**t.

I personally don't care if they are wonderful people. We need to go back to "what can they do for the country?" policy. These thousands of refugees that poured into the US from S. America didn't do the U.S. one bit of good. Matter of fact they burden our medical system, school system, housing, etc. Oh yea for all the liberals who cry about minimum wage all the time, a flood of low sk**led, non-educated i******s drives down wages.

How many of those years have we been accepting refugees, of military age, from the war zones when the leaders of the enemy brag that they are infiltrating the refugees with terrorists? So far they have used guns bombs and cars, how long before they poison a reservoir?

How much damage is done by clumping these barbarians so that they form mini nations within our borders where they violate the right's of others in accord with their laws, not ours?

How much other damage is done and will be done by the spread of their pernicious Mohammedanism which results in home grown terrorists?

They are already doing what you say here. What I want to know is why the lefty snowflakes don't see a thing wrong with it. Will it take an act of barbarianism against one of their own before they open their eyes up to the dangers of letting this continue.

=====================
These refugees in the guise of victims, are the people of Mr. Obama and Hillary Clinton. That is why do everything they could to protect them, and find all means to allow them to come. Unless US stop these barbarians, US will be like the Middle East and Africa. Europe is almost there.

President Trump must continue vetting them, and preventing them to come, unless they are verified who they are.
While Christians feed them, as they get stronger, they isolate and k**l us. History has proven this over and over again. Now, in Europe it is already happening. While Democrats prevent President Trump to exercise his authority to protect and defend the American people, Mr. Obama did everything outside his power to destroy the US, and by inviting tens of millions of these enemies and radicals to destroy the United State.

There may be even a simpler solution. Discontinue all welfare benefits to immigrants from the ME. They will either move to Canada, or go back to their country.
